Horrible
Pros:

Location is convenient and the key reason we chose this property

Cons:

Absolutely worn-out hotel. We stayed for one night and were completely misled by both the 8.2 rating and the price — for the same money, you can get far better places in central London. We should have trusted the 1-star reviews, because they were accurate.

The hotel is shabby, the towels should have been replaced years ago, and the soundproofing is non-existent. There is no sound insulation in either the doors or the windows.

The worst part was the noise. Flags hanging directly outside the windows were banging against them all night in the wind, making sleep absolutely impossible. We are not particularly sensitive and normally sleep without any issues, but here we did not get a single hour of sleep. Even noise-cancelling headphones did not help.

This is clearly not a new issue — other reviews mention the same thing — but management seems happy to ignore it. We had specifically asked for a quiet room, yet were placed in the noisiest possible location, despite the hotel having other rooms available.

If you care at all about sleep, avoid this place. A truly awful stay and one of the worst hotel experiences we have had.

A Great Find!
Pros:

Great location, close to The Royal Observatory, Greenwich, The Horniman Museum and Dulwich Picture Gallery. Restaurants close by, easy parking at the hotel, but road parking available too. The staff are friendly, the room was a generous size with a comfortable bed and it is the cleanest hotel I've stayed in for a while. Breakfast was very good too. We will definitely stay again. For those interested it is also close to the O2 arena.

Cons:

This is a minor issue, all pillows were a bit hard. If we'd been staying longer I may have asked for a softer one, or brought my own.

Nicht (mehr) zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Perfect location for anyone planning to visit Greenwich—everything is close by. The breakfast is amazing, the staff are very friendly, and the room was very comfortable, clean, and had a nice view of the city.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn’t like about the hotel—everything was perfect.
