Hotel Monte Carlo

They had given away my one double room when I arrived to a bigger group. I had secured the booking over a month prior to the visit. The receptionist attending to us could not attend to anyone efficiently and was focusing his attention on a big group that appeared to have just arrived without bookings. Most of the customers were upset in the lobby due to the condition of the rooms, lack of towels and just poor customer services. I don't recommend staying at this hotel

The room was stale and moldy, bad smell coming from the air-conditioning unit, the curtains and the old forniture. Wi-Fi does not work at all in the room, but only in the hotel lobby. The key of the room did not work, had to be changed every time I came back to the room. For three days I had to get up very early, before the breakfast was served. I kindly asked to have a small breakfast pack: I got nothing but a banana on the last day.

O facto de ter falta de algumas coisas no quarto, falo da falta de luz na casa de banho e falta de pelo menos mais uma toalha na casa de banho, tendo em consideração que são duas pessoas que ocupam o mesmo, a falta de colher para mexer o chá, falta de mais uma chave e copo de água, tudo isso tendo em consideração que são duas pessoas que ocupam o quarto.
Por fim, o pequeno almoço estava bom ( sabor da comida ), porém estragou quando chegamos lá para tomar o mesmo, já havia acabado algumas comidas e o sumo que tinha huuuuumm.

A big complaint is that the key card for room entry mostly didn't unlock the door. They kept replacing the card and it only worked one day of the three I was there.
Either the lock was faulty or their system is no good.

Leider hatte ich während meines Aufenthalts einige unangenehme Erfahrungen. Ein Mitarbeiter ist in mein Zimmer gekommen, während ich geschlafen habe (es ging um die Minibar), was ich als sehr unangebracht empfunden habe. Er hat sich entschuldigt und es war keine Absicht.

Beim Check-in musste ich zudem etwa eine halbe Stunde warten, obwohl ich meine Ankunftszeit im Voraus angekündigt hatte. Was mich daran gestört hat: Es wurde mir in dieser Zeit nicht einmal ein Kaffee oder Wasser angeboten.

Zudem gab es nachts Probleme mit anderen Gästen bzw. Personen, die offenbar nicht im Hotel eingecheckt waren. Es kam zu Unruhe und Stress. Das Personal hat sich jedoch bemüht, die Situation bestmöglich zu klären.

Insgesamt hat dies meinen Aufenthalt leider negativ beeinflusst.

- AC faz muito barulho. Favor verificar a manutencao correctiva;
- Disjuntor do AC sem condicoes de seguranca;

Not worth it. The price we paid 3,200MT could have gotten us much better place.
