GOOD PROPERTY BUT POORMANAGEMNT Room notmade ready
Pros:

There was rarely any essential items in the bathroom
things missing were :
1.Soap ( only 1 ) no soap near washbasin
2. Conditioner
3.Bathroom dustbin
4.just 1 towel
5.No hot water

Had to call everytime to get it replineshed.
Housekeeping guy said he was not aware of check-in so kept the geyser off from main switch....poor coordination.

Room is not the same as is shown on website of hotel.
There is no chair , no electronic locker to keep your valuables.
Manager confirmed rooms are new ( about 1 month old ),,so we are arranging the lockers.

There was no one to help near swimming pool.( attendant )
then , no water ball or extra tube for kids.

It seems ....better rooms are given to fern club members ( told by 1 of staff )....
then why expedia ????

Whether expedia has done any due diligence to get room empanelled or its fern treatment to expedia .....remain to be answered.

Frankly not impressed.

Persons contacted
Mr. Charu , Mr Rajendra Prasad .....
just lip servicing done ....

Good Resort-Torturous Approach Road-3* Hospitality
Pros:

Overall the stay was good. The views from Fern Club Premium rooms are great. I had earlier booked Wintergreen Room after reading the description which says - Hill View! Sorry to say that description is misleading. The wintergreen rooms are small pigeon holes with rotten views! Fern Club Premium rooms are the best as they come with a small balcony and have great views from there. Fern Club Rooms are also ok but they dont have a balcony. The upgrade charge at Hotel from Wintergreen to Fern Club Premium Room was atrociously high - Rs. 2500/night - though we ultimately did manage a better rate - thanks to the reception manager. My advice is to book the Premium Room itself upfront online - as you will get a better rate without hackling.

Now the negative parts: The approach road is really bad! Infact its not a road-its a mountain rally path. With a 5 month kid we didn't dare to go down for sightseeing as it was raining badly for 3 days and we stayed stuck in our room & enjoyed great views from balcony.

The hospitality needs a bit more professionalism. At best i could rate it 3 star. The cutlery was visibly dirty many times. Tea & Coffee were pathetic. No Cappuccino! Come on man! Thats kinda basic nowadays! There is no fresh supply of non-veg on a daily basis & the menu is limited! Understandable as occupancy is often low and maintaining the same levels of supply is often not viable. The good thing is staff was honest about it !
