Closeness to beach

Cons:

No coffee in the room or ability to get before 6 am. Very late for early risers
The smell in this hotel literally made me sick. I now have a sinus infection
I had window open all the time and air conditioners running at high swing.

La ubicación es cómoda relacionado a que esta equidistante a Copacabana e Ipanema.
Pros:

En realidad la habitación muy cómoda y completa

Cons:

Los comedores para desayunar en general no hay buen espacio y por la cantidad de gente que hay en el horario pick se hace un poco incómodo. Tuvimos inconvenientes con el agua caliente que no siempre estaba a disposición y había que esperar.

Good Location but Disappointing Overall Experience

Cons:

The hotel has a very good and convenient location between Ipanema and Copacabana, but unfortunately this is where the positive aspects end.

The staff were not very helpful, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor. Common areas, corridors, and even dishes did not feel properly clean or hygienic. The swimming pool looks nice in the photos, but the reality is very different. The water was not clean, and the sunbeds were old, discolored, and had an unpleasant smell, which made the pool area uncomfortable to use.

Communication was also difficult because almost no staff members spoke English, making basic requests complicated.

The room itself was small with an extremely hard and uncomfortable mattress. Windows and doors were not well sealed, so noise from the hallway and nearby rooms was clearly audible. You could easily hear conversations and even snoring from other guests.

Service management also seemed inflexible. Even when the hotel was not fully occupied, requests for early check-in or late check-out were refused without offering any alternative options. This felt like a missed opportunity to improve guest satisfaction as well as provide additional paid services.

Overall, the excellent location cannot compensate for the low cleanliness standards, poor comfort, and limited service quality.
