Erholung pur mit Gastronomie auf Haubenküchenniveau
Pros:

Ein herausragendes Hotel. Unbedingt mit Vollpension buchen, das Restaurant hat Haubenküchenniveau. Sehr serviceorientiertes, unaufdringlich freundliches Personal. Schöner Wellnessbereich, der auch an Wochenenden nicht überlaufen ist. Doppelzimmer groß und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Durchdachtes Konzept (bis hin zu Rucksack und Lunchpaket, wenn man wandern geht). Schöne Wandermöglichkeit direkt ab dem Hotel, dann Nachmittagsimbiss, anschließend Sauna und zum Abschluss ein hervorragendes Abendessen - Erholung pur (ich habe spontan noch zwei Nächte an meine vier Nächte angeschlossen, weil es so schön war)!

Cons:

Für erholungsbedürftige Alleinreisende ist das Einzelzimmer keine gute Option (klein und Lage direkt zum Treppenhaus). Lieber dann gleich ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung buchen, das ist ein echter Quantensprung.

Pros:

Zentral gelegen für Ausflüge in den Nationalpark. Zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für Besichtigungen (Glas...) und für Ausflüge in die Natur.
Leckeres Frühstück, gute Möglichkeiten für Entspannung und Wellness im Hotel.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel, lovely location in Bavaria, friendly staff and great breakfast. Sadly I was there on business so did not get to make use of the spa, but it looked excellent.

Pros:

Excellent service and wonderful food. We really enjoyed relaxing in the "Wald Apotheke" bar with the very interesting and enjoyable cocktail creations from Markus.
The staff are warm and welcoming, always happy to help.
Breakfast buffet has a wide selection of local high quality food. The same is true for the evening meal.
The hotel is in a quiet area with plenty of local hiking routes in the Bavarian forest.
