Location is great, right there on the downtown strip. Food available for purchase was wonderful as well! Hours were a bit scattered outside of posted but understandable! We really enjoyed the town and will be back soon! Hotel was beautiful and honestly we kinda liked the self check in especially since we arrived a bit later at night. Room was clean and pretty! Windows (if they opened) brought in a nice breeze. Beds were comfy
I may have missed it but it would be nice to have it a little more known or noticeable somewhere that there is no A/C. (I know, historic building, i shoulda guessed!) So outside of the ceiling fan, unless you purchase something, there's no other fans either (we bought one in cripple creek at family dollar). So our room stayed between 79 and 81 for our stay, not great. Also, I know they are short staffed, but it's not my fave that they only way to get anything from staff is if the restaurant is open or to text a number. Especially cause when you do text a question in reply to theirs, 9/10 they didnt answer us. Only when it came to asking about a review did I get a reply (and a speedy one too!)
great breakfast!
Historisk og interessant. Fint med gammelt interiør
Det var veldig få gjester på hotellet. Vi hadde ikke behøvd å få rom ved siden av frityr-viften! Andre gjesters hår i sengen. Skitne håndklær. Støvete rom. Ga inntrykk av dårlig renhold.
Excelent little town with a big history. Great people and just a fun place to explore.
Nothing
Ordered dinner and it was pretty dang good! Jet and the chef were amazing. Very hospitable.
There were little tiny rocks all over my bedroom floor like nobody had vacuumed it since the last stay. I was more comfortable wearing my shoes.
Staff was excellent. Check in via text and security is great.
There were no towels.
The hotel itself is so cool. Very historic but with the modernized appliances you want in a hotel stay, like TV, fridge, microwave and the keypad was great for fuss free check in and out. I loved my room and the location is great!
Breakfast would have been nice but I didn't mind at all. It was great to get out in the City of Victor in the morning and find a lovely restaurant to get breakfast.
Clean room, small
Towels were old and looked dirty, 1 hand 1 wash cloth! No ice. No human contact. Had to wait for instructions to check in. Definitely will not go back.
Breakfest was amazing.
No complaints
Nice owner
The historic building was gorgeous, and the room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, parking was easy, and the in-room fridge was perfect for keeping goodies from the nearby bakery. The restaurant food was great too, and we felt safe the whole stay.
The only downside was some noise from neighboring guests one night, though that was really no fault of the hotel's.
The hotel was great!!!! The experience was different than expected. This was the first hotel I have ever stayed at that had virtually zero staff. There are codes for the doors and you utilize your phone to check in. More like an ABnB. There was a great pizza and arcade place about two buildings away, and it was a neat little town. The rooms were great they each have a ceiling fan or stand up fan with windows that open. There is not AC which works for where this hotel is located. The hotel is very nicely renovated was a one of a kind stay and we would do it again.
We got in rather late but the food was good. Limited menu. The room was comfortable. Perfect for one night. Next morning French toast was terrific. We walked to the post office to send our grandkids post cards. Then we drove a short distance to see Rita the Troll!
Easy access bathroom was excellent due to only having one leg .
The window would not open. Since no a/c this would be nice
