Good location, quiet and friendly staff

The Water disruptions was just not great. For a 8 story apartment building and no tanks its was a real problem i stayed at The Vantage for over 3 weeks and did not have a great experience in terms of the water issues, although communicated it was not a pleasant experience and i had to book an alternative venue.

The staff are friendly and helpful and get issues sorted out quickly. Just the ongoing hot water issue has been frustrating especially since its winter but it has been communicated properly.

Mixed experience.

The apartment was nice and the location was great. Had a clothes washer and a dryer which was great.

The main down side was the hot water was not working. The whole building was having issues. They did apologize and offered a discount on a future stay, but we were there on holidays and have no plans to return.

The apartment also does not have any heat or air conditioning. We were there in the winter and it was very cold at night. There was a small space heater and electric blankets on the bed, but the apartment was still very cold. This made the lack of hot water that much worse.

Assuming the water is fixed, would recommend only for spring and fall stays - would avoid during more extreme winter and summer weather.

I stayed in this property many times.

On the negative hand, the apartments ( 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms in which I stayed in different times ) need renovation in some areas.

On the positive hand, the personel is always accommodating and kind, the problem solvers are below and my Oscars go to them.

Great stay thanks

Great apartment. The internet was a little bit and miss throughout the stay and there was another small cockroach, this time in the fridge. We had a cockroach when we stayed last week as well in a different room.

Great property, great staff. Located right near everything you need. The only issue i had was with the shower. no matter how precautious you are, somehow the water would still fall on the bathroom floor because of how the shower is built.

Convenient location. Comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

Great 2 bedroom apartment near the zone and Rosebank mall. Cleaning each day. Good sized outdoor space for kids to run around. Helpful front desk.

Excellent place to stay, happily return again.

The Vantage is great. Everything, except for the check in and check out, where it was said that we didn’t pay the full amount. This was not true and fortunately we had print outs to proof the upfront payment. After an apology we were allowed into the apartment. Upon checking out we had the same problem. The payment issue between The Vantage and Hotels.com should not become the guest’s problem.

Especially ladies on the housekeeping department and the guys in the reception were excellent. Ill will certainly be staying in the Vantage next time Ill be in Joburg.

Easy access, safe place, privacy, walking distance to mall and shopping.

The property is in an excellent location. Walkable to shopping mall, metro, bank, restaurants, etc. The staff was friendly. There was daily housekeeping for the apartment.

I have been travelling for more than 40 years, this property definitely ranks in the top three of my favourites. It's more than just a hotel room...

Well equipped apartment in great location. Everything you could possibly need in walking distance.

Amazing apartment, very well kept and the security within the building is strict, which is excellent for South Africa. Very close to the mall. Its everything one would look for. Be it business or pleasure it is designed for both ;)

Very clean, we enjoyed our stay.

We were happy with the apartment. Really close to the mall, nice inner city location, we had a pleasant stay. Secure parking was great.
