Travelodge London Central City Road Hotel

We went for a nice date night, which turned into two date nights. We loved the breakfast so much. There were so many things to eat, fresh coffee from a machine. Juice and water machine as well.
The reception staff were absolutely amazing and helpful. I met such a sweet boy there. Security is on another level.
We’ve been there twice last year, but I wasn’t that impressed before. The rooms are renovated now – very, very clean.
I met two of the housekeeping girls. I don’t remember their names: one sweet blonde girl poor thing, she was very tired, and another girl with very long hair who was absolutely amazing, helpful, and very polite. I really appreciate their hard work.
A big thank you. We felt welcomed, and we will come again.

Stayed here on a last-minute business trip. The overnight staff were very accommodating and checking me in at such a late hour. The best thing about a Travelodge is you always know that you’re gonna get a clean and presentable room which can be hit or miss in central London.

The morning staff were equally as pleasant. The cheerful and chilled vibe in the morning they all created made for a great start to a super busy day.

I just wanted to share how grateful I am for the outstanding help I received from Sheniz during my stay. Traveling with two kids can be quite stressful, especially when you’re worried about disturbing other guests because children can be noisy. Sheniz completely understood this and went out of her way to make sure we had the right room so that everyone could be comfortable.
She took her time, listened carefully to my concerns, and handled everything with such patience, kindness, and professionalism. Her friendly attitude instantly made the experience smoother and far less stressful for me and my family.
It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about making guests feel at ease, and Sheniz truly made my day. She is a fantastic member of your team and absolutely deserves recognition for the effort she puts into helping guests. If anyone deserves a pay rise, it’s definitely her!

Very good, quick and kind staff

Great option - affordable, clean, big room that included even an iron

Room was nice and clean. The reception was very helpful and we even got to pick which floor to be on. I was more than satisfied with the kitchen, the chef- Yusuf and the bar- Sadeǎt as they kindly made sure we got everything we need and served tasty dinner. Pleasantly surprised by the hotel and very well worth the price!

The food was incredible!!! I loved it, they gave us ice cream!

Did not refill tea, sugar, milks, limited toilet paper, and no face cloths

Location and service was alright. The room was ok for what i expected. I was not happy regarding the situation on the restroom, as there was no toiletbrush. That sometimes lead to some problems with my Gf.

With Travelodge you know exactly what you'll get. It's basic but does have everything you need. Location is great, really easy to get to. Bring earplug if you're a light sleeper, it's on a fairly busy road. I don't think this is uncommon in a bug city though so don't let this put you off.

Practical city Hotel. Friendly staff. Clean. Comfortable beds. Wish there were more places to hang our towels.

Went to the Travelodge London Central City Road. Greeted and looked after by friendly and smiling staff throughout my stay. Nothing was too much trouble and the hotel was clean and modern. I would return again without hesitation.

Great value for money, convenient location, clean and tidy, welcoming receptionist. We stayed for a weekend visit to London; hotel is just a few minutes from a number of tube stations and very close to Liverpool Street station

Have to say this was a really great find, close to the station, spotless rooms and comfortable beds. The reception and security team were great and I’d like to say a special thanks to Niveen on reception for being so pleasant and helpful. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Pretty grotty even for a travelodge, water tasted funny, black mould in bathroom, shower doesn’t have a warm function - only Scalding or Ice water

Staff very friendly and helpful

Stayed here as my daughter was having a operation close by and when you think of a travelodge you think basic but this hotel and the staff was nothing of the sort it was the best stay I have had anywhere there is nothing I can complain about the food in evening was amazing the staff was so friendly and welcoming for a London hotel all the staff was amazing definitely recommend this hotel

We stayed here on Thursday night and had a really upsetting experience afterwards. When we got home, we realised we had accidentally left our little boy’s favourite teddy (baby yoda) in the room – his absolute favourite thing in the world and his best friend.

I have rang the hotel several times and spoke to a manager this morning, but since then we’ve had no contact at all. I’ve sent three emails today and none have been replied to, and no one has called me back.

What makes this even more distressing is that an item like this can’t have just disappeared – it has to be somewhere in the hotel – yet no one seems interested in helping us find it or even able to tell us where it may be. Being completely ignored when you’re trying to recover something so important to a child is absolutely devastating. I understand things can get busy, but some communication and basic care would have made a huge difference. We are absolutely devastated and feel really let down by the hotel.
