Special thanks to Demi who was extremely hospitable and cheery. Lots of rushing around for us on Christmas day with the 9 of us.

The hotel is conveniently located and at this time of year pre-xmas very good value. The hotel was clean throughout, and very quiet. Staff were polite and helpful both upon arrival and departure.

The young receptionist, Olivia, was very helpful as we checked in.
We didn't check the correct way for the carpark but Olivia dealt with it without any fuss.
The room was clean, comfortable and warm.
We were in Newcastle for the Lindisfarne Christmas concert and required a taxi. Olivia again dealt with this very efficiently.
The breakfast was wholesome, with the best bacon we've had in any hotel.

Always nice to stay here. Staff were great. Room had a bath which is a massive plus.
Comfortable room.

The staff were very kind, helpful and up for a laugh with the gift which is always great for atmosphere.
Sammie and Blake in particular were great to be around

Very good rooms food and drink nothing to complain about a nice short stay we had , a bit of uphill walk to all shops if not good at walking

Good location , very clean , nice bar area and great staff , karli on reception was fab and went out of her way to help when one of us had a hair disaster .

Was just ok, sadly the rooms just still are dated even though refurbished. Paid for the plus room but this really only gives you a coffee machine and a small Kit Kat! Not really as described online.

Very convenient for the Live Theatre and an easy stroll in to the city centre. Very pleasant welcome from Kari and all staff who we spoke to . Will definitely stay here again . Many thanks

Stayed here for the weekend with my partner for a little getaway, lovely hotel right near the water, nice and clean with fantastic service from the staff Demi, David and Reegan were absolutely lovely and so helpful and accommodating would definitely stay here again.

Great value stay. Room was clean and warm and modern. We also parked which was good value for money at £9.50 for 24 hours. Within walking distance of quayside and city centre . Warm welcome from receptionist upon arrival. Cannot fault for the price paid would definitely stay again

A deal on pizza and the bars stocked with bottles of ale.
David, Regan and Dan were absolutely lovely.
What more could you want?!

Our stay was for 2 nights midweek for shopping and Christmas Market. A perfect room as always which is what you would expect from Travelodge, clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and answered any questions. Brilliant location, parked the car safely and walked into the city each day. Hotel was quiet and away for traffic. Ate out mostly to experience the Newcastle hospitality but had breakfast one morning and drinks at the bar when we came back at night. All the staff we came across were lovely and couldn't be anymore helpful.

I just wanted to give a big shout out to the staff who were on duty on Friday night when my son and I came back to the hotel.
There was a slight issue which they dealt with, with a pragmatic approach and a great sense of humour and kindness. Those three staff members were Demi, Reegan and David.

Great comfortable and spacious room, in a nice convenient place. Rachael who worked the shift until 23.00 on Friday was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and was always friendly and seemed to have time for people as individuals.

Ideal location karli on reception was fab along with the lady at the bar who also made breakfast. We had 2 children so paying £9.99 each adult and the children getting breakfast for £1 was definitely worth the money. I would definitely stay again.

Great staff, super friendly and quick to acknowledge you on arrival. Karli was warm and friendly on checkout. Room had plenty of space and was really quiet considering the hotel was full on the first night. Enjoyed my stay here.
