Food was lovely, shame that there wasn’t a happy hour.

Friendly, convenient and a good place to stay

Just a few minutes bus journey from Gatwick airport. Girl on reception very friendly and helpful. Staff in bar/cafe were very helpful the food was good, and value for money. Rooms usual high standard from travelodge. Pleasant atmosphere and no noise outside the room

Staff all friendly and food was very good. Happy for the price we paid for the family room. Will be back for sure as easier to stay near airport than travel early hours. clean, windows were soundproof even on top floor where we were located. Good vibes and atmosphere was chilled and calm in restaurant.

On 4th March 2026 we caught the bus from South terminal to the hotel.
The staff were friendly and accommodating and the hotel very clean.
We obtained our room key and were given directions to the room. Myself and my wife were in a family room. This was very clean and comfortable.

We went down for a snack. We purchased a couple of alcoholic beverages, reasonably priced, and two pizzas. The pizzas were probably two of the best I have purchased - thin, crispy bases and flavoursome toppings.

The next day we were checking out and had purchased a ticket for breakfast the day before.
Breakfast was not dispointing at all. £12.50 each for eat all you can. Fabulous choice for cereals, fruit starters, porridge and a good selection of coked items - bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, tomatoes, beans etc. We'll worth it's money.

The stay was excellent. £63 for the room and meals additional. The staff service and friendliness, cleanliness of the hotel and quality of food was well worth it.
Would highly recommend for a stay.

Conveniently located within easy reach of the airport, which was our main reason for staying. The hotel was clean and welcoming, and the bed was comfortable.

We stayed prior an early morning flight, everything regards to the hotel was excellent. The shuttle bus from right outside the front of the hotel made getting to the terminal super easy. The only issue we had was the parking outside the hotel. We only had 15 minutes to deposit cases before dropping car off at long-term airport parking. We overstayed by 37 seconds and we were issued a fine by the parking company. However Travelodge customer services were very helpful at getting this cancelled. Would be 5 stars if not for the parking, I’m not a fan of 3rd party ANPR parking systems. I can’t fault the customer services communication in resolving the matter however!

Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The food was very good. Hot and decent sized portions. Rooms were clean and tidy

Really nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Kamper, one of the waiting staff, was super friendly and made the experience.

Due to the situation in the Middle East, our flights to the UK were cancelled and thankfully I am receiving a refund from the airline.
We were scheduled to fly from Australia this evening 2 March 2026 however with airspace closed, Qatar Airways cancelled our flights.
As such, our entire month long visit to the UK has been disrupted and I have to cancel all of our pre-arranged travel and accommodation.
Everywhere else I have contacted have been very understanding and offered a refund.
However, Travodge were completely inflexible and only provided the corporate response saying advanced rate purchases were non refundable.
We were very disappointed with the response.
