Biggest Travelodge I’ve stayed in but you would think it - lovely welcome - restaurant is bright and airy - lovely staff very helpful - Johnathan K was very friendly

The staff were all very friendly and ultra helpful. The bar has been refurbished and is pleasant for an evening before a flight. You would never describe the food as Michelin star but it is priced reasonably, cooked well and filling. I have stayed at numerous different hotels around airports and many have failed to live up to expectations. I have to say the staff here have really made the experience enjoyable.

Friendly reception. Decent sized room. Very clean. Great value. 100 bus from airport stops outside and only short walk to reception. Had a great meal. 2 courses for £16 - not a huge variety at that price but a tasty, well cooked pizza and lovely (and generous) pudding. All staff friendly. Would certainly come again.

Excellent service all round, the shuttle to the airport was reliable. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the wash facilities were good too - no complaints only recommendations.

Very pleasant staff, comfortable bed, absolutely clean, good restaurant, quiet.

I regularly use this hotel for business trips. The beds are super comfy and the food in the resturant is very good especially the stocky toffee pudding and not badly priced when you go for the meal deal. The drinks however are a bit expensive but that is only to be expected at a hotel near gatwick airport. I would book here again for both business and personal trips as ot is easily accessible from the airport so not bad if you have an early morning flight.

Amazing service, I wasn’t able to order drinks on the app, Rampa came over and said that I could order through him!
He was very helpful and took the time out to take my order! His a credit to Travelodge Gatwick!

Check in was smooth & easy, Rampa in the restaurant was fabulous,the snacks n wines were delicious & the room was way better than expected for the price. Will deffo be staying for the next flight. Keep it up guys. What a gem. X

All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Ian, who went above and beyond helping us get home, after our train was cancelled, can't thank him enough

I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant! We pre-booked the breakfast and evening meal package as well and it was brilliant food and service! Beds were comfy, shower adequate, location good with Hoppa to use. Massivr value for money! I definitely recommend.

Stayed at Gatwick. Lovely staff on reception and in restaurant. Food was pretty good tbf. Room immaculate. A great start to a holiday

The room- comfy and clean. Nice welcome at reception but my god do not eat there!!! I had three small plate for dinner and was up all night committing despite only eating a few mouthfuls. The scampi bites were Cole in the middle- raw? And the halloumi fries smelt so bad- more fool me for trying a bite- I can not describe it. But what made it even worse is that I did raise this with the team and they didn’t care- no apology, no offer to remake, NOTHING. I came back to the bar a few hours later so request a jug so I can have a jug of water to sip in between vomit but was told no. And, despite explaining the reasons why, no apology. The breakfast is kept under scorching heat light so get there for the second the buffet opens or be prepared to go hungry. The poorest quality I have ever encountered as a hotel reviewer
