I would like to thank all of the Staff members at travel lodge well apart from one AXIL.L . AXIL is a very rude individual making my partner feel very uncomfortable. Snide remarks and bad attitude Axil excells in this department. Firstly refusing to take a very small bag of rubbish and making my partner put it in the bin out side was her remark. Every time my partner passes Axil in the reception mumbles to her self and goes out of her way to be unpleasant. Axil gave a guest in the hotel the wrong change and nearly arguing with a fellow guest . It's now got to the point that my partner is now got such bad anxiety when entering the lobby. My partner has many mental health issues and Axil is not making it easy to stay here. I just hope someone with authority reads this and takes action. It's a shame because Axil in my mind should not be i hospitality because her attitude is terrible.
Was visiting for buisness and things the perfect location for all the meeting in Glasgow. Close to local transport links. Travelodge Breahead is always a lovely stay, staff always welcoming and say hello on passing. Rooms are clean and well presented.
Great stay at the braehead travel lodge yet again, staff very friendly and helpful as always
The hotel is very tired and run down. The room wasn't clean. There was no soap/gel in both of the bathroom dispensers. The car park was run down and there was lots of litter. The staff were fine however.
Stayed here for work in janurary and was great. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was delicious. Hotel is placed next to an amusement centre and shopping centre which was quite helpful for any shopping needs I had.
Would highly recommend though!
All the staff are great and pleased to see u very polite and go out there way to help very clean place to stay excellent parking close to shops
Great hotel well placed for the area and is clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and accommodate every need. Free car parking and safe
Took ages for front desk staff to process my stay, should have booked online and it would have been cheaper. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable ideal for a good night's sleep
From my experience, I would encourage anyone booking a room at the Braehead Travelodge, to be sure to confirm that the room they receive is, or is not, a disabled room depending on their needs. The email conformation will not confirm this, nor will anyone you may speak to about the room. The Travelodge has disabled rooms to sell which are very different from standard rooms.
Stayed during Christmas time, was a very nice and chilled environment, staff all lovely and friendly, location close to a shopping centre which helped with last minute shopping, room was very cozy with good heating, had a minor problem that was sorted in minutes, overall very pleased with my stay.
2nd night and couldn't be happier. Clean & quite just what i like. Ladys on reception lovely & very helpful. I would highly recommend staying at travelodge Glasgow braehead.
Nice quiet hotel friendly staff comfy beds I would stay here again.good location to motorways and food restaurants and shopping centre.
The room wasn’t very clean or warm the windows let in so much noise and cold. The Wi-Fi was poor and the breakfast too. Very disappointing as we have stayed in travel lodges before and they have been great.
Brilliant stay with amazing staff. Particularly Tina who was nothing but kind and helpful throughout our stay. Will be back
The issue was that the hotel claims “dog friendly”, charges £15 extra for the dog, which I have no issue with. The hotel also charges for breakfast. I was staying at the hotel with my parents as we were visiting family nearby for Christmas. When we went down to breakfast I was advised that I couldn’t have my dog in the restaurant but I also couldn’t leave him in the room. So I asked “how do I get breakfast?” To be told I can fill a plate and take it to my room with my dog. I was made to feel like I was the problem. My parents had to hold onto my dog, for me to get breakfast, and then my mum helped me with my plate, my coffee and my dog onto the lift and back up to my room, to eat there alone, while they then sat down to breakfast. The issue I have is this would have been extremely difficult if I was on my own and I don’t like when hotels claim they are dog friendly and they are not. For 9 years I have stayed in many hotels with my pet and most of them do it very well. Most offer a small area to sit in the dining room, when travelling with pets. But to charge for the dog and make no allowances for them is unfair and wrong. It would be better to say “no dogs allowed”. I was very unhappy about the situation. Even if it the information is stated, it doesn’t justify the logistics of navigating the hotel when travelling with pets.
I received a very warm welcome on arrival and although I arrived at 2.30pm knowing check in was not till 3pm the very kind lady on reception said she would check and see if my room was available and if so she would be happy to check me in ! (SEASON OF GOODWILL !) I was happy to wait if I had to but fortunately the room was ready so that was great.
I got my self settled in and then hit Braehead Shopping mall which was extremely busy as it was Christmas Eve after all !! This Travelodge is within walking distance of the Shopping Mall so is very, very handy.
My stay was absolutely fine had two nights there and my room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Towels changed whilst I was there . I paid a little extra for a Standard Plus Room. These rooms are located on the top floor of the hotel and meant to be quieter rooms. You also get a coffee machine with coffee pods plus hot chocolate and a couple of Kit Cat Biscuits which was a nice touch. Also included in the extra price is full WIFI cover for the period of you stay. So worth thinking about.
I would have NO HESITATION in staying at this particular Travelodge in the future. On my experience I most certainly recommend it. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Got the best of services from a very friendly chap Alister ask for a top floor room as I'm a light sleeper and with a smile on his face ,he done it
Handy location. Clear rooms, towels and beds. Cleaners attentive. Kirsty the at reception was so helpful, helped us with tying our check in with our hospital schedule
Nice clean and friendly stayed here for 3nights with my daughter and we both felt comfortable. Staff were amazing took time and chatted away with us.
