Sandia Resort and Casino

I am a local, but had not visited the resort in many years. My lifelong best friend came over from London to receive a distinguished alumni award from UNM, with the event held in the hotel. I decided to book us a room for the night.

We had an absolutely lovely time! The room was gorgeous and we had a great view. Our lunch after check out was delicious, and they were able to accommodate my friend’s allergies.

Afterwards we went to the original Bien Mur, where my friend purchased a Zia symbol necklace to intrigue her London friends. I snagged a beautiful necklace and barrette. I highly recommend for a “staycation” or just a visit to eat and soak up the atmosphere. I may even come back to try the spa!

Wonderful hotel/casino to stay and play. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean.

Just got back from an amazing weekend at Sandia! Fabulous views from a beautiful room. Staff was amazing. Especially Tracy in concierge and Davia in management. I highly recommend this hotel to future guests!

We recently visited for a birthday celebration, and the experience was absolutely world-class from start to finish.
The tone was set the moment we arrived by Davia, the Front Office Manager. His check-in process was seamless, but more importantly, his warm energy made us feel like honored guests rather than just another reservation. He went above and beyond to ensure our room was perfect and that we felt welcomed right away.
A massive thank you also goes to Tracy, our concierge. Tracy is a true miracle worker! She handled all the coordination for the birthday festivities with such precision and care. Whether it was the little details or the big surprises, Tracy ensured everything went off without a hitch.
If you are looking for a place that combines luxury with a personal touch, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed there for a charity event that was held at the hotel. The rooms are nice, but quite overpriced. But for the location of the event, probably would have chosen to stay somewhere else. Despite the 80 degree temperatures, the pool was closed. Not sure why everything closed so early at a casino - the bar off the lobby closed at 9:15pm and the restaurants at 10pm. Would not recommend the appetizers at the restaurant - we were pretty sure the overpriced taquitos came from the freezer section at Costco, but we can definitely say they were not made on site. Overall our stay was fine, just not worth the expense.

Very nice rooms and great cleanliness of hotel. Ate at Bien Sur and had wonderful dinner. Highly recommend. Staff was great. Sports book was great.

I've been going to Sandia for over 20 years (every month). I never get tired of the games, rooms, slots, bingo & the VIEW!
The employees are awesome. Especially Jaycee, Kako, Mary & Lumie. I've made many friends that work there. All part of the Sandia Experience

We were there for an event and spent the night. Such an amazing property and well managed. The food and service were great. We will definitely be back.

The reservation staff at Sandia Resort and casino in Albuquerque, NM is awesome. They are always very helpful in booking our stay. In the past month we have had great service from Katrina and Summer .

The staff is always professional, friendly, and excellent at what they do. This year, though, a valet named Victor appeared out of nowhere like a ninja genie and solved everything I needed help with. Thank you very much!

Lumnie and the other young lady who work here at Kiva are EXCELLENT! They were always happy to take our orders and made some absolutely delicious coffee. Their service made working our event much easier. I highly recommend the coffee here!

The best service once you enter casino and it’s so clean including restaurant. The front dest is very friendly.

The most beautiful resort with amazing views. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Everything is so clean. Noise was not a problem.

A nice stay. We had a large room in the 7th floor with food views overlooking the Sandia Mountains and the gold course. The king bed was comfortable.

We were so pleased with our stay at Sandia Resort. The staff were warm and welcoming. If we wanted to wager we could but we did not need to walk trough it to get to our room. Hotel and our room were amazingly clean. So pleased that we were able to stay at Sandia Resort!

Went to the Council Room and had a delightful waiter, Ms. Kristin. We gave a very complicated order, but she didn't miss one thing and the meal was first rate! She was on top of everything, from the drinks to the check. Bravo!

We stayed at the Sandia Hotel. We were helped by Angelo who works the Bell by the hotel entrance. He is excellent at his job. He greets you with a smile and is friendly and helpful. He shows confidence in his work and he knows the city. He is an excellent employee of Sandia hotel. I will stay at the hotel again because of him and his friendly altitude.

Sandia is the best casinos in the Albuquerque area. The rooms at the hotel are always very clean and plenty of room for my mobility scooter. It takes only minutes to check in compared to other casinos in the area. The best thing is the security getting to the rooms. Feel very safe. The rooms are a little high but if you get a player's card the discounts are great. I am 82 years old and they make me feel wanted. Great place.

One of the best places to visit really clean rooms good food, good environment, friendly staff and when you’re winning, makes it a lot of fun too

My wife and I stayed a night on our way to Colorado. We’ve been to many casinos but this one was the cleanest and had many slots to choose from. It was busy but not crowded. The rooms were spotless and the staff was very friendly. We even stayed another night on our way back from Colorado haha. Only knock is that the rooms are a little pricey.
