1 Year Anniversary stay in Holbox
Pros:

Great stay, lovely quiet spot with nearby access to great amenities and fun in town.

Check-ins from wait staff were a lot at times, but they were always friendly and professional. Great drinks, good food, nice tree cover and shade and lounge spots by the pool and beach.

Beautiful stay. Would definitely come back!
Pros:

Cannot beat its location!!! It is quiet, private and has the most beautiful beach right across. I particularly loved the design of the hotel. Lots of palm trees, palapas, and hamacas, which makes it a great beach getaway!

Cons:

I disliked that the keys to the room were handed right at 3pm- check in time. Not one minute before. It would be nice that the hotel offered some flexibility on this, as we arrived at 2:30pm and had to wait in the lobby, even when the room was ready.

Très bel endroit mais cher pour les prestations proposées
Pros:

L’hôtel est mignon et l’emplacement/l’île est paradisiaque. C’est également propre. Le personnel agréable.

Cons:

Vous avez 2 formules all inclusive que vous découvrez en arrivant. 1- classique que nous avions pris et 2- premium qui vous permet d’accéder à toute la carte. Si vous voulez passer en Premium il faut ajouter 20$ US par jour et par personne.
Si vous prenez la formule classique vous n’avez pas droit à une bouteille d’eau (plage, repas… peu importe !), c’est verre d’eau uniquement.
Les piscines sont un peu vétustes, beaucoup de carreaux cassés
L’hôtel est très petit donc vous n’avez qu’un resto-buffet (le 2e est payant pour tout le monde) qui n’est pas très bon et avec peu de choix.
Les chambres sont toutes assez proches de la piscine/restaurant ou de l’entrée et le problème c’est que quand vous êtes prêts de la piscine vous entendez TOUT y compris à 6h du matin (le personnel qui discute et qui prépare le petit déjeuner).
Nous avions une chambre vue mer, il ne s’agit que d’une vue éloignée. En effet, la plage est bien plus loin que la première chambre donc les pieds dans le sable oui car c’est du sable partout sur l’île mais pas les pieds dans l’eau.
Le personnel du restaurant ne parle pas anglais pour la plupart.
Il y a 2 piscines mais celle du haut est minuscule donc celle du bas est accaparée par les enfants.
Le restaurant du haut est payant pour tout le monde et accessible par des personnes non clientes de l’hôtel.
On vous fait signer un papier à chaque commande/repas passé(e) même quand c’est inclus dans votre forfait all inclusive….
Les équipements dans les chambres sont vétustes.
L’hôtel n’est pas un 4 étoiles selon le standards européens ou américains mais plutôt un 3 étoiles qui pourrait très correct si ils adaptaient leurs tarifs en conséquence.

El desayuno es excelente tiene mucha variedad y cambian los platillos dia a dia, el personal siempre atento, cercano al mar tiene una playa bastante privilegiada, tranquila

yo agregaria mas camastros al lado de la alberca ya que por lo general estaban ocupados y uno de lso chefs parecia enojado cuando pedias hacer un ommelet, fuera de eso todo bien

Heel comfortabel en echt een paradijs, het lijkt wel een droom!
Pros:

Het is prachtig! Het ligt direct aan wat ons betreft het mooiste stukje strand van Holbox! De kamers zijn ruim en de bedden zijn super comfortabel! Het wandelingetje naar het stadje is prima en het personeel is super vriendelijk!

Our stay here was nothing short of perfect. Beautiful, relaxing, and the service was phenomenal.
Pros:

It’s in a great location. Best beach on the island. The hotel is gorgeous! we loved the pool, hotel, our room, everything was very clean.

Beau séjour malgré une mauvaise coordination

Emplacement et établissement très beau

Cons:

La coordination compliquée entre la caisse du bar/restaurant trop de personnel mal formé, nous avions crédité notre carte avec une caution pour pouvoir mettre nos consommations etc sur notre chambre comme dans tous les hôtels et bien tous les jours on nous disait qu’il n’y avait pas de crédit et c’était toujours très compliqué. De plus la personne qui était à la caisse du bar/restaurant était toujours différente. Trop de chefs de sous chefs . Les serveurs quant à eux essayaient de faire le maximum mais tout les jours ce problème de prise en charge a fini par nous agacer fortement.

Pros:

Grand hôtel familial près de la plage avec deux piscines. Décoration moderne. Personnel agréable et professionnel, avec un employé francophone qui nous a aidé pour trouver les transports sur place. Notre chambre sentait la peinture mais on nous a directement surclassé dans une autre chambre au premier étage avec vue mer partielle depuis la terrasse.

Cons:

Petit déjeuner varié mais d'une qualité moyenne pour ce type d'établissement avec un supplément pour l'expresso...

Beautiful authentic style hotel-Paradise!
Pros:

This hotel is simply wow from the moment you arrive. Nestled in an oasis of lush greenery and nature, yet only steps away from a silky-soft sandy beach—easily the best on the island—it truly feels like paradise.
We stayed in a junior suite with a private pool, which was amazing. The room was spacious, and our pool enjoyed sunshine all afternoon, making it perfect to spend mornings at the beach and afternoons relaxing in our very own warm pool.
The hotel really makes you feel immersed in nature. During our stay, we saw a variety of birds, as well as lizards, iguanas, and the adorable raccoons that left their little footprints around our pool each morning.
Breakfast offered a great selection of fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, and traditional Mexican dishes, along with an omelette station for something made to order. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis because we wanted to explore the authentic local restaurants in town, but the prawn tacos and seafood pizza we tried at the hotel one day were absolutely delicious.
Every member of staff we encountered was courteous, friendly, and professional. We also enjoyed practising a little Spanish with them, which added a lovely personal touch to our stay.
The location was ideal—just a 10 to 15-minute walk into town, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy.
The only thing worth noting, if you’re planning an adults-only style getaway, is that the hotel welcomes families, so there were quite a few children around. It could be a little noisy at times, particularly around the main pool and during breakfast, but it didn’t bother us personally.
I’m so glad I chose to stay here—it has left us with wonderful memories of a truly magical trip to Isla Holbox. Gracias!

Strand top, Frühstück als Buffet und sehr gut, toller Pool, Lage einzigartig, Personal ausserordentlich freundlich, auch klimatisierter Business Raum für Zoom calls steht zur verfügung

Cons:

Wenn WLAN auch am Strand funktionieren würde, wären wir wunschlos glücklich gewesen

Pros:

Great stay at Villa HM Palapas del Mar.
Great location on the beach for kids and a short walk into town along the beach which is lovely. The hotel rooms with private plunge pools are clutch with young children!
