OYO 619 Water Palm Resort

Es gab kein Warmes Wasser. Die Außenanlage war heruntergekommen und ungepflegt. Teilweise vermüllt.

Also bei der Ankunft war kein Personal vorort das wußte das ich überhaupt anreise. Es waren auch keine anderen Gäste vorort.Die anlage war sehr ungepflegt und stark veraltet. Bin dan wo anders hingezogen.

there was no restaurant in the hotel. There was no reception either. The pool was dirty and there were broken parasols in the ground. There were only one workers and he did not speak and did not understand English. There were no restaurants in the village and no taxi was able to order because they were not. Besides, there was nobody else in the hotel although the booking services seemed full. The only employee left at 4.00 pm and we were all alone in the entire hotel area. a bit scary ....

Mkt prisvärt, men räkna med låg standard. Wifi var mkt svagt och fungerade inte alls under större delen av tiden. Poolen gick inte att använda. Ingen personal på plats under hela tiden. Svarar inte i telefon. Inget varmvatten i duschen. Bra daglig städning och fräscha rum med tv (inhemska kanaler), vattenkokare och kylskåp. Var enda gästen på hela anläggningen under alla tre veckorna. Några enstaka nätter var ytterligare ett rum bebott...

Pleasant week staying at water Palm. Rooms are clean except for a few small ants and an occasional gecko. The bed might be typical for the region but a westerner while find it very hard and uncomfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is pleasant but bath water temperature in June.overall this is a pleasant stay in a rural area of thailond

Excellent value for money. Very large, spotless clean rooms. 100 sg. metres with a huge balcony overlooking the small lake and the attractive pool area.

Service is top notch and very friendly. The security consists of a geese couple, who will at first hiss and bask their wings at you, nobody enters this area un-noticed by they, but they will grow on you as they get acquainted with you. Feed them some snacks and you will be their friend forever :)

We did not dine at the Water Palm Resort as we preferred to eat out at at the very friendly family driven thai restaurant at the main road, situated som 5-600 metres from the resort at the main road. They serve excellent, authentic thai food at bargain prices.

There is a fishing village some 3 miles from the resort, from here you can visit the island Koh Ko Khao. Very nice and laid back. You can reach this island with a number of resort by taking the car ferry, it takes like 10 minutes to reach the island.
The staff at the Water Palm can arrange that for you. They are a very resouceful bunch.

However, in order to enjoy this place the most, it is advised either to bring your own wheels or arrange transportation, as it is a bit off the beaten track. That is one of the reasons why we liked it.
