Ban Chanchay

Wonderful friendly staff, a very convenient position for the beach, a nice clean swimming pool and a decent breakfast for 100bht.
The rooms are in need of decorating but everything works ok.
A good place to stay for the price.

I`m back here for fifth time and enjoy my stay better for each time. Rooms are quiet and nice consider your so close to everything. Shopping, food,markets and the fantastic beach 2 mins walk away. Staff is friendly,nice and helpful. Smile and be nice to them and they will be the same for you. There's also a nice pool to relax in the sun.

This is my second stay here staff good breakfast good amenities very close by also they never stop cleaning apart from one or two moody room cleaners everyone else very friendly I would recommend this hotel and will be back hopefully

Very nice and clean hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotle is just a cpl minutes walk from beach and also same same to Market Village shoppingmall. Chanchay has a cozy pool and even a great restaurant with tastful meals.

The location is very good. Only some 100 meters to the beach and the same distance to the shopping center Market village. Walking distance to night and other markets and to the center with lots of restaurants. Also quite a few restaurants in the neighborhood, e.g. "Lyckliga gatan" (Happy street). Service was OK although not super. Breakfast decent although sometimes slow replacement of food.

Gwen and I have been regular visitors to The Chanchay for the past 15 years and it's description as a budget hotel can be a ltttle misleading.. The staff are ultra friendly and obliging and the whole place is kept in immaculate condition. The dining room is cleanliness personified and one of my big surprises that so many take and enjoy breakfast and yet fail to visit the dining room later for a snack or even dinner.There is an excellent menu,superb service and all this at very acceptable prices.
It is a sheer joy to come off the near by beach to a cool and pleasant room - what wonderful cleaners The Chanchay employs - they really are gems. Yes The Chanchay is tops!!!!!

We booked four nights at this hotel. A lot of smokers stay at this hotel, so if you are a non-smoker, when you book your room, make the request accordingly.

Fast service, the bell boy very attentive. Staff very efficient and helpful.

Rooms big enough with basic amenities.

The best part is how close this hotel is to everything in Hua Hin.

The shopping mall is right across the street. Take the 10 baht tuk-tuk to go along the main street and to all interesting points of interest.

Excellent breakfast and lots of variety.

We arrived on Monday. 7th May and were happy to to have two nights at your hotel. But first we met was a staff not smiling for the customer, we felt almost that we disturbed them in their work. The man who took our suitcases to the room was ok. Tuesday morning we were woken up at 6.45 because some children were shouting and screaming in the pool. There are clear signs that the pool opens at first. 7.00, it should not be the staff's duty to see that there is no noise in the pool before 7.00. On the whole, I felt not welcome at your hotel. disappointing. We spent 4 days at Laluna resort in Chiang Rai and got service and smiling staff. Is also sent to TripAdvisor. Will never again. Perhaps you should tell the staff, who pays their salaries. Thailand is famous for "the land of smile", unfortunately it was not what I experienced. staff in the evening, however, was more smiling, so it must be their dagpersonale not quite understand who pays their salaries.
