Best Western Summerlea

This property is not a hotel but operating as function venue. Each night there are multiple parties with loud vibrating music being heard in the rooms till early
hours of the morning. The staff are polite enough however our complaints of not being able to sleep due to the noise were ignored. Nor were we properly compensated for the inconvenience and not being able to get a decent nights sleep. Eventually we checked out earlier than our departure date into another hotel.

If your intention is to stay at a hotel to rest up I suggest you do not book into this place.

Strong Moldy smell, broken power plugs, dirty shower and dirty bedspread

The hotel was old and dated. The pictures make it look nice and new but that is not the case. First night there the toilet was leaking. Maintenance checked it and said nothing was wrong. They sent up housekeeping to “clean” it. Which was a wipe down with a rag. The hotel restaurant has an extensive menu; making it look very good. But when we tried ordering certain items (chicken burger) it wasn’t available. They say they do late night food - not the case. The room windows did not close properly and the traffic noise was pretty annoying. Overall I would not book this hotel again.

We had gotten the suit which were very spacious, how ever we had to call several times to request for towels. The housekeeping either forgot to leave towels or left only 1 towel . Also there was a disgusting smell every time we turned the water on to wash our hands . Staff needs to smile more, they always seemed very uptight and not friendly. Overall experience was ok but I would not return back to this hotel again .

Amazing service I would highly recommend this place.

Been staying here prior to the lock down and most recently last week. In the beginning it was nice as everyone was paying attention maintaining the standards of the place. However, there has been a sure and Steady decline both of the property and its services. Very poor upkeep. Horrible food and very rude staff. Pass on This option and choose another place to stay!

It was worst experience ever. Reserved two rooms, got to the Hotel and they didn’t have any rooms available.

Good. Pleasant stay. In house restaurants are good.

The bathroom had a really great shower. There was a good choice of vegetarian options at the breakfast buffet too. My sister and I thought it was very good value for money. The staff were polite and attentive as well.

Staff we great and breakfast was good for the price we paid. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable, good service.except the noise at night time. Lot of disturbing.
And on the last day the breakfast (sandwich & fruit) was not provided as the staff promised.
The money was charged for the breakfast. Very disappointed.
