The beach.
Wasn’t as clean and luxurious for the price.
Location is great!
We stayed there last year , but this time, we were little bit disappointed ☹️ because when browsing the photo for Luxury king suite, it shows the beachfront and the view was in the beach thinking the view was the in-front of the beach however when we arrived the building was in the beachfront but our view was at the back-road and we don’t have the beach patio plus the price also went up :(
The beach is definitely the highlight of this property. The beachfront location is beautiful, and the sunset views are pretty. Just be cautious with parking, as it can be challenging at this location.
We experienced a Bed Bug issue in our beachfront king suite . The staff did move us to another room, which we appreciated. However, the second room raised even more concerns about cleanliness. The fold-out bed contained sand, hair, and dirt, there was food debris in the corners of the room, and the vanity was covered in sand. It made us seriously question the overall housekeeping standards at this hotel.
What was most concerning was what happened with our original room. From the beach, I watched housekeeping clean it the following day. No pest control or professional inspection ever appeared to take place. The room was simply cleaned, the towels and bedding were replaced, and it was swept before being rented to new guests less than six hours later. That was extremely alarming given that we had reported finding bed bugs in that room.
Manager stated she would look at the rate and issue a percentage of a refund for the issue of having to switch rooms for finding bed bugs - that NEVER happened.
Other things:
*Parking is extremely limited and not guaranteed. The hotel shares parking with the public beach access, making it very difficult to find a space, especially around sunset! PARKING WAS ALWAY FULL!
* Beach amenities (chairs, loungers, and umbrellas) were consistently occupied by people who were not hotel guests.
* Walls are very thin. We could hear conversations, TVs, and other noise from neighboring rooms, especially through the connecting door.
* Ground-floor beachfront units offer very little privacy. Beachgoers regularly walked on our patio, and several even approached us asking to use our bathroom.
we loved the location! the rm was clean and the bed was so comfortable
The location was great!
Our booking was listed as a luxury king room. Showed pictures of a large sliding glass door out to the beach. We show up and go to our room and we have a view of the parking lot. I go back and talk with the desk and she said "not my problem". She told me the listing didn't say beach view and she didn't care what the pictures show. She gave me the name of her manager, Nicole and said talk with her. Nicole didn't care either. Poor customer service. We felt we were screwed out of about $400-500 for our stay. I tried to let it go but tried to reach out to them again via email and phone. Phone calls I felt were screened they never answered and email they didn't respond. I was on hold with Booking.com when they attempted to reach out to them 3 different times via phone and email also with no success. We've been coming to the island for 20 years and due to the hurricane we've had to stay at new places. Will never stay with them again!! My hope for the owner is they find better employees to work the desk and look at your listing. Seems fraudulent. Use caution if you are booking with them.
1st pic is what took of our room and 2nd pic is of listing.
La ubicación y la atención es espectacular
No hubo algo que no me gustara
Everything!
Na
The room was nice, however, coffee was offered but no decaf coffee!
Asking when the room would be available? I was told at 4pm. 20 minutes later I get a text saying good news your room is ready for additional $50!!!! So if the text said it was ready, why at 2:30pm if we can check into our room. The answer was no.
This is a REAL SCAM!!!!!
The proximity of the beach.
The worst value for money ever. We paid over $900 for supposedly a Luxury King Suite with a Balcony and sea view. This was an average standard room in any hotel (nothing luxurious about it), no balcony and to get the sea view you had to step on your toes to see from the high windows.
We were literally on the street. We slept all night with the noise of the cars and people passing by outside.
The property is advertised as a hotel but it is not. You have no common areas, the reception is in a ridiculously small shop next to the pool.
We booked a room with a sofa bed and had to make the bed.
Ridiculous. We wanted out but the receptionist never wanted to help arguing there was no management on the premises or reachable. Even Booking is trying to reach out to them without any response.
The beach was nice. The bathroom was furnished well. A/C was strong and good. The unit had hot showers. The unit was decorated nicely, but not very functional. It seemed like you wanted it to look attractive but not comfortable so renters wouldn't stay in the unit much which would reduce wear and tear on the apartment. The person who checked me in was pleasant and helpful.
There were only 2 small chairs for someone 100 pounds or smaller. The unit should have at least 1 comfortable chair and preferably 2 chairs. Only place to sit was the bed which was too high for just sitting on it. There was no microwave. I thought the large upstairs deck would be available for all the renters. The unit had no windows so it would be even more important to have good lighting. The fixtures looked nice but the bulbs put out such little light that you couldn't read unless you went into the bathroom. Instead of a Keurig, it would have been nice to have a coffee pot so I could make the coffee I brought. Parking is a problem. Not much room to maneuver getting in or out. People not staying on the property were parking there so sometimes it would be difficult to find a space to park.
Location
