The location on the lake, awesome beach!!!!
The rooms need major overhaul . The hotel overall needs to be redone. The pool was ok but the liner of the pool is chipping up. Hot tub was not working. Our room had a not so nice smell. The kitchenette was ok . The stove had to be 50 yrs old. The full size fridge was a plus.
On the lake. Close to town
Run down. Sheets were stained. Windows hadn’t been cleaned in years if ever
Beautiful remodel job!
Nothing
Beautifully sugar sand beach and pool- very easy to check in and out thank you for a great service from onsite staffing ❤️😎
Wished the hot tub was working but the pool was cleaned daily by staff and my family enjoyed it 😁 especially my grand daughter who was a mermaid at the beach and pool for a great labor day weekend
Bed was comfortable.
2nd room had horrible smell, had to switch rooms. Hot tub was broken and unusable. Pool had oily film on top. Pot smell as people openly smoking pot in common areas outside. Fire alarm issues. Staff was worried about losing job, she said, intead of customer when had to switch rooms due to horrible smell.
Convenient beach front location, staff were polite and friendly
I booked a deluxe double room that advertised a photo of two full beds, and when we arrived there was only one full bed. After some initial confusion, we realized that there was a second room attached with a pull out sofa bed, which was not mentioned at all in the advertised booking. At this point I had already asked the front desk but they notified us that there were no rooms with two full beds available and everything had been booked out. So we were brought a single fold up cot in case we didn’t want to use the sofa bed. The lack of clarity about the room we booked was dissapointing and it didn’t exactly meet our expectations of what we paid for. Also be aware that the pet fee is a non-refundable $50 PER NIGHT. The room itself wasn’t terrible but it certainly wasn’t great either. The hotel appears to be quite old and outdated. The window curtains were very dirty and worn out. The fire detector on the ceiling had the battery compartment hanging open with no batteries in it. The breakfast was heavily carb and sugar based with the only protein source being offered in the form of hard boiled eggs. Other than that there was cereal, pancakes, bagels, toast, cinnamon rolls and various pastries, instant oatmeal and yogurt cups. No meat offered at all. By far the worst part of the experience was the constant noise from other guests in the hall that can be heard clear as day as if they were in the room with you at most hours of the night. Also, the first night a loud buzzer alarm went off in the hall that woke us up and we were worried it was the fire alarm but it turned off briefly after. These things made it very difficult to get a peaceful nights rest. It seemed that there were always groups of people hanging around in the halls and lobby areas with some instances of heavy marijuana odors. At least we didn’t see any bugs in the hotel room.
The location is the only thing good here
Well where should I start? The place was dirty. You walk in and stains all over the floors before you even get in a room. Get in a room and the windows are open with no screen letting bugs in. Came back from a dinner to the building evacuated due to a fire. People were out in front of the room until 4am screaming and yelling. Our curtain had looks to be blood on it and all ripped up. If you are paying $200 a night they should do better!
Affordable rates, comfy beds, pool/ hot tub, great location right on the beach
Not as clean as it could be throughout hotel
location and the room was nice
unfortunately the pancake maker was broken and the fire alarms went off at 5AM
Beach
Manager was very rude! My account got charged twice and had to go through a lot to get the extra charge off and my credit union filed a grievance against the Manager as she continued to be extremely rude to them as well. The room was filthy as well as the hallways doors etc.
Close to a great breakfast restaurant.
TV was in Spanish and the staff couldn't change it to English.
We loved that it was right on the beach, they offer wood for the fire pits and also have grills to cook on.
Once we arrived, the owner told us she would "upgrade" our room, which ended up being a downgrade. The AC unit didn't work, thankfully they swapped it out quickly. The hot tub wasn't working and other people kept popping the doors open in the pool house making it extremely chilly inside. The ONLY reason we booked this hotel was for the hot tub. Also, the chemicals turned out bleached hair green. Toilet seat was for an oval toilet when there was clearly a normal round toilet in the bathroom, so that was a little awkward for the boys.
the room was dirty not what I was expecting
. The pool was worse, first we were told it was down the day we arrived. then later that same day they opened it. we got in, Sunday & Monday there was a slimy film on top. did not use the pool either day. hundreds of dead bugs in the common area. Beach was just sand. no play ground that they advertised, broken chairs down by the water.
