Exceptional
Pros:

This is a truly luxury experience. The staff are exceptional. The decor reminds one of the art deco cruise liners of the past. The breakfast and food offerings in the evening are scrumptious. The location is very near the local train station so getting around is easy and interesting. I have stayed before and return to Takamatsu for the pleasure of this facility.

There is nothing not to like except leaving

The evening snacks & drinks were identical every day. I appreciate that it is offered at all, but food was not fresh or imaginative.

A great choice of hotel right next to the shopping street
Pros:

A charming hotel! The rooms, while on the small side, are very picturesque and comfortable. Street noise is quite audible, even on the top floor. The rooms can also get quite hot though when there's sun, as we couldn't control the thermostat. We had to ask housekeeping for a key to open the window to get the temperature down.

We really enjoyed the ambience at the library room, where they serve breakfast and also provide free drinks and snacks throughout the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pros:

צוות מדהים עם שרות מעולה. ארוחת בוקר טובה מאד יפנית או מערבית לבחירה. אחה״צ של קוקטייל וקפה עם כיבוד קל וטעים בחינם. מיקום מרכזי. חדרים מאובזרים ונקיים.

Cons:

החדר סטנדרט היה קטן עם מיטה זוגית שאחד מצדדיה צמוד לקיר. מכיוון שהיינו לילה אחד (בחג סטנדרט) וחזרנו למלון ליומיים נוספים בהמשך ביקשנו חדר גדול יותר וקיבלנו כזה. חדר זה הרבה יותר נוח למרות שגם הוא קטן יחסית.

The staff were very pleasant but their seem to be no flexibility for vegetarians which today seems odd.
Pros:

The hotel staff were welcoming. The room was immaculate but very small.
Location was good for main reason to visit the Ritsurin Gardens which were perfect.

Cons:

We asked for a dinner reservation on arrival around 5.00pm to be told this wasn’t possible but we could try tomorrow. We tried and reception made the booking. I then told them my wife was vegetarian and would there be something suitable on the menu. She checked with the restaurant who suddenly told us the restaurant was no longer available.
We were invited for cocktails/snacks in the bar which was very nice but once again everything was meat or fish The only thing available for my wife was a wheat cracker with a red bead on top.

Great hotel with good service and delicious breakfast.
Pros:

Royal Park is very clean, the staff were helpful although most of the staff spoke no English. Rooms were nicely furnished and beds were very comfortable. Royal Park has a great afternoon "happy hour" where some snacks are available in the lounge along with tea, coffee, and juices. The breakfast buffet was terrific with both Western and Japanese foods available. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel in great location in Takamatsuwith exceptional food
Pros:

Excellent location within easy walking distance from ferries from mainland Honshu as well as JR Takamatsu station. They offer complimentary Japanese or Weatern breakfasts are absolutely superb. Staff are incredibly polite and efficient

Cons:

Room was small even by Japanese standards and were a little dark
