No EV charge, booking said it was. That was the reason I stayed there. The room had a serious smell. Tried to change, but the man at the front desk was nowhere to be found.

Let Down
Pros:

We chose this hotel for the hot tub and pool. Without notice the hot tub was closed and the pool was absolutely freezing. There was a birthday party here at the same time and 6 girls huddled under the pool shower nearly the whole time because the pool was absolutely freezing as noted. The room was adequate.

Okay, but not amazing stay
Pros:

The Fairfield is a newer butte hotel with the amenities of this tier of hotel free breakfast and pool. The room size are large for the two queen rooms. When we stayed there were 3 sports teams including ours so it was very packed. When checking in there was no recognition of bonvoy status, the front desk staff seem apathetic. The breakfast was good and had all the usual offings including dairy free creamer/milk.

The reasons for only 3 stars
Limited parking
Our tv didn’t work and front desk staff were not interested in fixing it after 3 times of asking over 2 days they finally fixed it.
Breakfast staff needed more help
Front desk staff was not friendly
Construction pallets stored in the entry way and lobby.

Pros:

I liked the size of the suite we stayed in. Also the pool and hot tub were amazing (especially the fact that they are open 24 hours!), the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The only thing I can think of is to have more gluten-free breakfast option for those of us who are are celiac or gluten intolerant.
