Not recommend and honestly not worth the price.
Pros:

The area was nice and there was free parking. The breakfast was OK with generally good views of the nearby hills and ocean. The staff were pleasant enough but I've seen better service from 3 star venues, this was 4 star?

I had half board with dinner for 2 nights and the dinner was definitely delicious.. sadly that's all the good i can say because there were no drinks not even WATER included other than during breakfast...you need to pay for it otherwise - €3 for a glass of water...?!! Even though there were plenty of FREE water fountains nearby that you can replenish your bottle if you need..the staff never even mentioned those i happened on them myself.

Yes they had a small pool that I did not fnd appalling and did not use. I'd say a maximum of 4 adults could swim there at a time.

Cons:

A lot. The room was very small for the price and 4 star venue, the view was OK, but with VERY LACKING facilities - no fridge , no AC not even a FAN and a very meager and bland toilet with bathroom - i can't imagine what it would have been like staying there during 2026 heatwaves. There was zero soundproofing..i could hear my neighbours as much as cough or whisper in the next room - so not much sense of privacy. There was no good ventilation in the room, so at night to try to sleep i had to open the window...and hear the very irritating sound of some VERY LOUD FROGS despite ear plugs - Sleep was not comfortable.

I don't know if in that half of Madiera the hotels are less worth for $ but generally the price was too high and having been to a LOT of hotels in my time - including another one in Madeira that same week - my opinion was this was a 3 star, not a 4 star experience and not worth the price.

I am not sure who i would recommend this hotel to - not couples, not larger families / older kids, but maybe for families with younger children who could use the pool? (Why not just go to the many amazing beaches or swimming options instead?)

Pros:

Am Ende von schwierigen Wegen findet man die schönsten Orte. Die Anfahrt ist interessant.
Das Abendessen ist sehr gut. Jeden Abend gibt es eine Auswahl, alles davon ist sehr gut.
Das Zimmer war sehr schön und geräumig.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, allerdings wirkt das Badezimmer etwas alt und könnte etwas sauberer sein.
Das Hotel hat zu wenige Parkplätze.

Pros:

Sehr leckeres Essen; kompetentes und jederzeit freundliches Personal, Nachhaltigkeit. Wir haben die Möglichkeit Wanderausflüge direkt über die Agentur des Hotels zu buchen sehr genossen. Besonders die Führungen von Joachim waren sehr interessant und individuell ausgestaltet.

Cons:

Das Doppelzimmer war zur Alleinbelegung verhältnismäßig teuer.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und das Zimmer war super.

Cons:

Wir hatten Halbpension. Beim Abendessen mussten wir uns am Vortag für ein Gericht entscheiden.Entweder Fisch, Fleisch oder Vegetarisch. Besser hätten wir es gefunden, wenn wir mehr Auswahl gehabt hätten.

Una struttura con una vista mozzafiato.
Pros:

La struttura ha una vista fantastica, il personale è gentile e disponibile, il titolare (tedesco) ti fa sentire a casa.
La mezza pensione è stata un'ottima soluzione.

Perfeito para quem procura tranquilidade e bem-estar.

Gostei muito do atendimento e da tranquilidade. O jantar também estava delicioso. 😁
