Location to Ramstein AB is a 10
Pros:

Location to Ramstein AB is a 10: 1.8 miles to gate and another mile to passenger terminal. Very comfortable bed and a terrific shower. Had stayed here before, didn't realize 75% of the channels on the TV were in English- pretty nice given I've been watching German/Austrian Olympic Centric coverage- but hey, that was kool too! Hotel has a lift, very quiet and plenty of room to lay out your belongings to prep for Space A next day (desk/chair, suitcase platform). As for distance to base, it's a nice/safe hour walk to passenger terminal from hotel to stoplight and follow path across (note- I carry a backpack v suitcase)- ezy and nice to get a walk in before sitting on plane for 9'ish hours.

Cons:

Breakfast is quite expensive- if you're not a big breakfast eater, a couple bakery items makes for a nice snack and there are plenty of those places in Ramstein-M.

Exceptional
Pros:

Exceptional. Best Kept Secret in Ramstein--not anymore! Highly recommended for English-speaking guests. Why? In addition to the staff. It is the first hotel we have stayed at in decades in Europe with 15+ English-speaking channels.

Overall great hotel, but aside from the location I believe it to be overpriced
Pros:

On a good note, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was large, and filling. Staff was great in the kitchen area as well and offered assistance with our child at every turn. Had a fridge in the room, microwave in the hall, and soaps in the bathroom, and somewhat well furnished.

Cons:

As for the not so good but not terrible either, the construction of the hotel, cosmetically speaking was a bit iffy. Doors did not close completely and required force to get them to latch, some stair plates had some movement which was a bit concerning, and the runway was extremely loud during the night but that isn't the hotel's fault. In fact I would consider it a plus because it is close to our final destination, Ramstein Air Base.
