The London Hanoi Hotel is tucked away in a quieter, professional area of Cau Giay. The hotel goes to great lengths to provide immense value and accessible pricing for what it delivers! It features a large building with ornate interiors and rooms that are spacious and reasonably well-equipped, including both showers and bathtubs.

If you are traveling on a modest budget—or visiting Hanoi with friends—and want a more authentic local experience with a commute into the city center, this is the place! It allows you to enjoy a nice, spacious hotel without the high price tag. Because it is locally managed, the experience is distinct from standardized international chains; it has its own unique charm, is fairly new, and is packed with value. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and very skilled at using translation apps to communicate.

Cons:

Mostly minor. Don’t believe the shower and bathtub was intuitive, not the best buffet, don’t use the stairway, occasionally the front desk was unstaffed.
