Hallways are not clean, it has a smell which you do not expect from a 4 star hotel.

Value for money even for a standard room doesn't match. It is a good hotel, but not to the standard of a 4 stars.

Pros:

L'emplacement, le confort de la literie et le petit déjeuner très bien fourni avec du choix.
La salle à disposition pour se changer en cas de check out tôt le matin.

Cons:

Juste mettre des miroirs en pied dans les chambres et/ou l'ascenseur pour vérifier sa tenue !

Cons:

Riesiges Hotel mit Massenabfertigung. Wir haben alles online gemacht und mit niemanden gesprochen.
Die Eingangshallen überfüllt, die öffentlichen Toiletten im Hotel dreckig und aufgrund der Hotellüftung das Zimmer sehr laut.

I booked the standard upper level room and it gave me a beautiful view of the city. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly.

Cons:

I was charged 500 CAD holding fee which wasn’t not communicated. Booking.com only confirmed that I’d be charged only 300 CAD. I received 400 CAD back with no explanation why the other 100 CAD was not paid back. Another thing some of the kitchen staff are quite rude and not helpful. It’s a pity I did not get the lady’s name who was rude to my colleagues and I. It was a white, short lady with blonde hair. She had her hair in a ponytail. If the kitchen staff at HÔTEL Monville has a problem with serving African travelers then the property should not accept our money from the onset.

The hotel is wonderfully located to Old town, China town and the Metro, clean and stylish, staff is friendly and helpful
