I paid for 2 nights and only stayed 1. I asked for a refund on the 2nd night he said no
I couldn't stay the 2nd night because I had to work gruff the night

Overall my stay was okay.
Cons:

There were roaches and gnats in the room. When they come to clean the room they don’t wipe things down or sweep or mop causing roaches and gnats to appear.

The bed was comfortable and the area was decent enough to lay my head

I didn’t like the fact that when I came into the room it smelled like pure smoke like somebody definitely smoked in the room but it was overall good because the women gave us some air fresheners

I chose the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Houston NW–Cy-Fair after seeing its rating on Choice Hotels and decided to give it a shot. The area was okay, but the guest environment felt questionable. I was extremely disappointed to request a non-smoking room, only to be placed in a smoking room. Even worse, we had to move twice — the first time after finding a roach on the pillow we had just laid our toddler on, which made us very nervous about cleanliness in the next room.

It’s surprising to see that this property won a Choice award, as it clearly seems to have gone downhill. While I could see attempts at upgrades, things like the light fixture pulling away from the ceiling and issues in the sitting area show a lack of upkeep.

I wouldn’t recommend this property for families. At best, it might work as a quick stop for a few hours of sleep, but certainly not for a comfortable or worry-free stay.
