Bella struttura coloniale all'interno del forte di Galle. Staff giovane e accogliente. Camera spaziosa e bagno superlativo con vasca e doccia calda. Posizione eccellente per esplorare i dintorni a piedi o tuk tuk.

I had such a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel in Galle. The property itself is charming, peaceful, and perfectly located, but what truly made the experience special was the incredible staff.
A heartfelt thank you to Deneth, Tharusha, and Dilani, who went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. Also, one of the best breakfast we have had in SL.
I would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Galle.

Our stay was truly a five-star experience. The location inside Galle Fort is excellent, perfect for exploring the area on foot. The service was outstanding, and the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay.
The room was unbeatable — spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Having a bathtub was a real plus, especially to relax after a long walk around the fort. Breakfast was incredible, with great flavor and high-quality products.
There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like — it exceeded all my expectations.

Everything about No 05 is beyond perfect, easily the best hotel we've stayed in in Sri Lanka.
This boutique hotel is actually a retired and extended 17th century trader's house.
It has been beautifully restored, tastefully decorated, is elegant, quiet and exudes calm.The rooms are beautiful and the gardens lush and very well maintained.
Also the best breakfast we've had in SL.

Amazing manager, tasteful modern interior in an old house, quiet rooms - the aircon was even switched on for us before we arrived.
One of the best places we stayed - don’t miss eating the most delicious food in Galle at the Bungalow just down the road!

Location, beautiful historic building, staff who went above and beyond, delicious home cooked breakfast , spotless very comfortable room
The whole experience was the best we had had in Sri Lanka. The only negative was the tuk tuk to the station. We had used pick me regularly during our travels. Pick me quote 300. We asked the hotel to arrange a tuk tuk to ensure we put our money to a local. The cost 700. Not a lot but left a sour taste being more than double than we expected.

This hotel was great, lovey rooms and very large kitchen and lounge area downstairs. The staff were extremely attentive which made our stay lovely. I’d also like to add we had a late flight and they let us keep our bags free of charge and allowed us to use the lounge and kitchen areas throughout the day, even though we had already checked out. They also let us shower using the communal bathroom which was very nice and clean which made our last day stress free! We are really grateful for such kind hosting! Finally, the hotel is in a great location in the fort where you can walk to whatever you need! I would highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Galle!

Wonderful location, peaceful yet only only a minute's walk to restaurants etc. Friendly, helpful staff who went the extra mile. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good and very substantial breakfast.

Une typique maison ancienne rénovée dans l'esprit modernisme tropical, la réalisation est parfaite, un pied dans le passé avec un esprit très contemporain, on adore! Accueil très chaleureux attentionné , chambre et salle de bain très spacieuses et de confort optimum.
