Great place to stay
Pros:

Wonderful location, peaceful yet only only a minute's walk to restaurants etc. Friendly, helpful staff who went the extra mile. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good and very substantial breakfast.

Ottima struttura per visitare Galle
Pros:

Posizione perfetta , un'ottima struttura, gestita molto bene da uno staff gentilissimo e super disponibile. Camere ampie e confortevoli, buona colazione.

Cons:

Migliorerei solo l'Isolamento acustico, i serramenti sono a listelli aperti per la circolazione dell'aria.

Une magnifique adresse dans le Fort.
Pros:

Une typique maison ancienne rénovée dans l'esprit modernisme tropical, la réalisation est parfaite, un pied dans le passé avec un esprit très contemporain, on adore! Accueil très chaleureux attentionné , chambre et salle de bain très spacieuses et de confort optimum.

Worth a stay in Galle in itself!
Pros:

I wish I could give this place more than 10/10. It is absolutely unmissable. From the beautiful architecture, to the extremely comfortable beds, waking up to the sound of monkeys and birds, the gorgeous garden....we could have stayed forever. The decor and aesthetic choices here are really something, and it is also very clean. A perfect boutique hotel, that in my opinion is amazing value for money. We were treated like royalty by the lovely attentive staff, given lemon-scented hand towels on arrival and an iced tea, and served such a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, handmade in front of us (I saw a review which said there was no choice, but there is plenty, including continental options instead). It was up there, if not the best food we had on our month-long trip to Sri Lanka. Nothing was an issue - a cup of tea, ironing etc., and all delivered with a smile. We loved it so much we started devising how we could come back and attempted to make a stop again on our tour around the country! Alas it hasn't worked out, but we are scheming for another visit at some point in the future!

Pros:

We had a fabulous stay at No 5 Middle Street, it is a beautiful old but modernised colonial building. The staff were lovely, with an excellent breakfast and our room was wonderful. It is also a great location within Galle Forte.

Absolutely fantastic place
Pros:

Nothing can be said for this place except good things. The place is a beautiful historical building well placed within Galle's old fort walls, with everything in walking distance. The room is very spacious, well curated with a very big bathroom as well as an unexpected walk-in closet; bed is very comfy too. The staff is absolutely top notch, always available in case you'd like a tea or coffee at any time whilst being very very kind.

Don't forget to enjoy breakfast at this place as it's an experience on its own!

There is really nothing bad (or even remotely close to it) which can be said about this place
