Bugambilias Suites

We were very impressed with Bugambilias Suites and hope to stay here again! It is a courtyard building tucked away behind an unassuming street frontage. It seems to be a smaller hotel than I had guessed from the photos, which makes it feel even more private and peaceful. The room we stayed in was like a studio apartment. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a good-sized kitchen, powerful A/C and lots of storage space for personal items and food. There is a supply of drinking water down the hall, which we really appreciate.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful host who took us on a tour of our unit and the property. She showed us the rooftop patio, which is spacious, very inviting and a comfortable place for late night breezes and gazing at the moon.
The building is secure with a vehicle gate that is closed at night and a keyed pedestrian door. The courtyard (even though it is also the parking lot) is pretty, with nice pavers and well-maintained flowering plants. Not a lot of places to hang out at ground level, but the rooftop patio more than makes up for this.
The neighborhood is walkable and convenient to the pedestrian mall and the Malecon, but it is out of the very busy tourist area. There are good restaurants, services like clinic, grocery, and bakery, and shopping within a couple blocks of the hotel. We didn't have to drive at all while we were here.

Best place in town

Haydee was wondeful. She was so helpful and friendly. She even found me a guitar to borrow so I had no excuse for not practicing while away! We met her son Saul - a charming young veterinarian doing great work helping the local animals and their owners. Her staff are very pleasant. The location is perfect - a very short walk to the main plaza but still quiet. Spotless accommodation.
The most comfortable beds. Our 2BR, 2 bathroom suite was ideal for us. Having a washing machine and clothes line on our little deck was convenient. We used the upstairs patio every morning. The view of the mountains is amazing.
Secure and free parking.

We had a great stay at Bugambillas! Heidi in the office was super helpful and attentive. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Las Bugambilias is our favorite hotel in Loreto. It is meticulously maintained by Haydee & her staff down to the last thoughtful detail (including sewing & first aid kits in the bathroom, snacks on the kitchen counter when you arrive)
We especially love to relax on the rooftop terrace offering lovely views of the Gigante mountains. It’s only a couple of blocks from the Plaza so restaurants & shops are within a short walking distance. Parking is secure within a locked gate at night.

Very clean, spacious, safe and free parking and incredibly friendly staff. We stayed at 3 different hotels in Loreto and this was by far our favorite. Full kitchen with a bunch of equipment, big supermarket nearby. Comfortable beds. Very quiet to sleep. We’d be back any time!

This small hotel is top notch. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities are well maintained and clean. The kitchen has the needed utensils for cooking. The bed is very comfortable. The terrace on the top floor is a bonus relaxing. You won't regret a stay here.
