The room was spacious and had a nice chair and a writing desk, which we appreciated.

Cons:

I think it would have been nicer if there was already water provided in the jars in the refrigerator.

Fantastic location almost on the waterfront, and 2 blocks from King St. Great restaurant attached to the hotel. Restaurant specializes in southern cooking.

Cons:

Housekeeping staff didn’t get to my room until late in the day or sometimes not at all.

Nice place, Super excellent front desk!
Pros:

Location and condition was very good. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and very friendly. Very clean. Comfortable beds.

Cons:

Parking was the first thing that disappointed us. Very pricey for no valet with extremely tight parking spaces. There was an attendant, but I couldn’t understand a single word from him. There were many spaces open that were wider and easier to park in but they were blocked off for some unknown reason. The spot I had to take was so tight. I was barely able to get out of the car. Second disappointment was the hotel restaurant. Over priced and not very tasty. I wasn’t very hungry. My wife was hungry. I picked a special off the menu “half off burger night”…… that special was on the menu but was discontinued and I wasn’t told until our check arrived. I wouldn’t have minded if it was good. I couldn’t finish it. My wife had a pasta. She said it was tasteless. She had to ask for pepper and cheese. It didn’t help. She was hungry but couldn’t finish the meal. The Matthews Merlot was excellent. Take the parking and restaurant out our stay and this hotel is a 10/10!

Blick auf Potomac, grosser Fluss. Sehr gutes Bett.

Cons:

Bestellt war Zimmer mit Blick auf Fluss. Aber, bei der Ankunft war kein so ein Zimmer frei. Nach zwei Tagen wurde aber ein so Zimmer frei. Bekam ein einen Gutschein von $ 50.

Cons:

The restaurant there has poor service. Ate breakfast there one time, even though that meal was included for in my rate for two days. Server forgot 2 things. I was asked by 4 people if I had everything. Staff was hanging out in front laughing & talking out loud the entire time I ate, which was quite disruptive. It was a bit of a chaotic experience!
