I have enjoyed my stay here many times! When I am able I will attempt to always stay here when I need to be in town for an extended stay!
Very quiet and very comfortable! Along with the beautiful architecture the place just invites you in to stay!
We love our stay very nice!
We love everything about the hotel!
I loved my stay !
We love everything about the hotel
Didn’t have any breakfast. 🍳 the desserts we had that evening were good. Didn’t have any other meals. Our waitress was nice.
We were disappointed by the condition of the hotel. By the pictures on the website it looked modern on the outside and inside. Though when we got there to check in we saw it needed renovations. The check-in desk was behind glass area which I was surprised. Prior checking in I was looking for parking or valet parking and there was none. I had to have my wife wait out side under the car canopy where I had to come in the back entrance. Than try to find my way up to the front desk which was not properly marked until I found the elevator and the lobby button. The lobby was dark and not properly lite up. The area around the hotel wasn’t the greatest. Once I found the check-in area the attendant was polite. The room was comfortable but old. The restaurant was dark and there were stains on the chairs etc.
Beautiful old world style hotel
Microwave in room would be nice, vending and ice on each floor would be great
The hotel was beautiful! The rooms were clean and it is a beautiful place to take pictures.
One of the men at the check in desk was VERY rude. White hair and facial hair. I don't know if he got too overwhelmed but he was not friendly and overall made me not really want to go back due to his attitude towards me, and the 3 other couples we went with. I honestly felt like we could've gotten better service at the holiday inn or even Mcdonalds.
Location
The room was filthy. I also have pictures the price that we paid should’ve been. . It should be top-notch cleaned, and it was not.
Unexpected architecture that we enjoyed spending time in, we liked it enough to return again from our discovery of it from last year.
Would have been nice to have the ability to have a breakfast, at least there was a tea/coffee area.
Bed was comfy, water and coffee were available
Hot water for bath and sink ran brown
a/c was loud
I love that the historical integrity of the hotel has been preserved.
My room was smelly, and the carpet felt sticky.
Also, I was at a conference that had a lot of elderly people. Even though there were elevators, they weren't well-marked. And the stairs lacked support towards the bottom. I saw a lot of folks struggling with the staircase situations.
It’s a beautiful lobby. On Parade Routes.
Easy access and parking was fine. We had view of River on 5th floor.
Missed the entrance at 20:00 pm so had to lug suitcase up stairs to enter. Could not see the entrance to pull up to. The pillows were horribly flat and hard. On 5th floor. Antique looking beds so got the ambiance we wanted but fridge was on floor, cover to airconditioner was half off. Looked bad and cheap and loud!
AND there was a half drunk water bottle on the desk! So not a welcoming sight.
