Hyatt Place West Des Moines/Jordan Creek

Excellent location. Staff is very helpful. The rooms are very nice and very clean. Everything is working as it should. The pool looked very inviting.

We love the Hyatt and stay every year for wrestling tournaments. It has great access to Smash Park, surrounding stores and restaurants.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Our room was clean and neat. Nice selection of hot and cold options for breakfast included. There is a small bar with a limited menu right off the lobby. This was convenient as the weather was poor and we didn't want to leave for dinner. Our only complaint was that they were out of several items listed on the menu, so we had to alter our original choices,

Good location, quiet, comfortable, staff was polite. Good lobby for gathering. Good breakfast. Room was clean. Only wish there was a hot tub but definitely not a deal breaker and would stay again.

Quick check in and courteous staff. Room was great with seating area and very clean. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Great blackout shades and slept past breakfast!

Always a wonderful stay at this hotel. It's a clean hotel with comfortable beds, a nice gym, and a stellar breakfast with great plant-based options (oatmeal and lots of toppings, fresh berries to put on top, fresh melon, and oat milk). This is one of our go-to hotels along our biannual cross-country route.

Great locations and staff. Beds were comfy, rooms super clean, great breakfast, amazing staff. They brought me extra pillows at 11 pm at night (I have a recent injury), let us have early check in so I could come sleep after my red eye, and provided a late check out. They were just so accommodating and kind!

The room was your typical Hyatt Place with a bed that was way too soft for comfort. The breakfast was sub par with not much selection. The absolute worst thing was that the water in the shower never got warmer than luke warm—completely unacceptable. The front desk clerk didn’t seem alarmed by this when I told her about it when we checked out. Would I stay here again, probably not nor could I recommend it to friends.

This our second time staying at this hotel and it did not disappoint. The staff are always friendly and the room was clean. The breakfast was fresh and full of many items to choose from. If you’re in the West Des Moines area, this is a great hotel to stay at.

Our room smelled like raw sewage. My sister booked a double room and they were very rude in saying even though she paid extra for a double they aren’t guaranteed. She ended up in a suite but it still only had one bed. My brother and his wife had multiple attempts of people coming into their room, tv turning on in the middle of the night. Front desk said when they finally called to inquire about why they kept checking out their room “sometimes the system just does that”
No apologies were offered for the multiple bad experiences.

Nice place with amenities, and space our group needed. The bar , pool and fitness center all looked fun.
Property was clean, and staff were very friendly.

The hot water was not properly working. Shower water was cold. Roach was in the lobby area. The room was nice and the staff was very pleasant.

Wouldnt recommend staying here. Wife checked in and unfortunately there were some issues with the room. She asked the staff to switch, which they were able to accomodate but the same issues existed in the second room. They tried a third room but seems they didnt relaize there was already someone in the room. My wife asked for a refund but they advised she would need to discuss it with the manager in the morning. Manager stated their policy is no refunds for cancellations regardless of reason. Hlshould you decide to stay, i hope you dont have any issues with your room because they arent going to provide you a refund.

Location was PERFECT ! Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was good with a nice variety. Drinks at bar were tasty and convenient. Right next door was a fun place to eat and drink.

First time at Hyatt Place and it was great. Front desk was great and room was fine.

We chose this hotel because they offered a government employee discount and we were in town for a family wedding. The hotel was fine overall, but nothing particularly special. The biggest issues were with the showers—the water pressure was very poor, and on our second day there was no hot water, so we had to take cold showers. Other than that, everything was average. While the stay was acceptable, I wouldn’t be quick to recommend this hotel to others.
