Pros:

Very well, kept property and very relaxing. Was with a group of golfers and the golf course was absolutely fantastic.

Pros:

Scenery was beautiful. Food was good. Portions plentiful. Staff all friendly and helpful. Only disappointment was no lake view from our room balcony and weather was too hot to do much outside. Planning on returning.

The staff was all very kind and helpful. The location is perfect and it was well-kept. The restaurant was good and the prices were low. We wish the room would have had a refrigerator. The pool was nice, but the lounge chairs need replaced.

The property is in a great location close to the lake. I didn’t like how the staff would let people with boats clog multiple parking spots and make the parking lot unnavigable. My car was almost hit by a boater several times.

Room was full of gnats because of gap at bottom of door. Let front desk know but did not seem to care. Said to see housekeeping next day but did not see any. No refrigerator to store food. No microwave to heat food.

The State Park has amenities for all ages. The trails were nice; the restaurant was excellent and convenient; several marinas were close; the lake was really gorgeous. This was our second visit to the resort, and we are already booked for October 2025.

Pros:

Trip was a family weekend getaway, and the lodge was a great location to stay for our destination. The only complaint I had, and its just a personal preference, were the size of the beds. They were only a full size, and just a bit small for our liking. But the rest was just perfect. Everyone was so nice and the room was really clean.
