Great value, nice accommodation for the price.
Pros:

Great location. Great light and windows that open. Lots of pillows! Amazing upper deck, well appointed barbecue and seating area.

Cons:

Minor repairs would help. But not dealbreakers at all. I'd stay here again.

Everything i needed for my 2 night stay.
Pros:

No breakfast, but lots of restaurants in Avalon. Tiny room, but clean with fridge, microwave and air conditioner. Top deck with great views. All needs met.

Cons:

Steep stairs to room, but manageable.

Pros:

The location was excellent. You could not ask for better. The size of the room (Sea Shell) was very generous. Staff was great. They let us store our bags in their office before and after our stay.

Cons:

The room and the hotel is very tired. Could use an update. The spa tub was great but also very worn. I can not really knock the hotel too much but the wifi was down for the two nights we were there because of the wind storm that happened.

The location was great and the roof top deck was fun.

Cons:

The facilities were dirty and extremely worn and in need of renovation. We did not feel the facility was represented well in the booking materials.

Great place for singles and couples to stay
Pros:

It was small and very sweet. An historical building. Excellent location - easy walk to everything in town. Roof top was a great - nice views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My room had a fridge and a microwave.

Cons:

Only the Wifi was a bit dodgy and couldn’t get the TV working, which actually didn’t bother me. Wifi was best on the roof top!

Cons:

The ice is on the third floor, the grill on the roof is not sanitary and the lights up there don’t work in safe at night. Hopefully they get them fixed for the next visit.

I realize it's an older hotel, but the over $200. price seem a bit high for the quality.
