Garden Appart

Das "Papyrus" ist ein perfekt eingerichtetes recht kleines Appartment nicht weit vom Bahnhof entfernt. Das Appartment befindet sich zusammen mit einigen anderen nicht im Hauptgebäude des Hotels Garden sondern in einem separaten Haus mit mehreren Etagen kurz ums Eck. Ich habe mich über das themenbezogene Einrichtungskonzept und die Hinweise auf Umweltschutzmaßnahmen gefreut. Der Kleiderschrank könnte etwas mehr Stauraum bieten und bei der Ablage vom Gepäck muss man ein wenig kreativ sein. Auf die aktuelle (Mai 2024) Baustelle vor der Tür hat das Hotel keinen Einfluss
Das Musée des Beaux-Arts ist ca.5 Minuten entfernt und die Dauerausstellung dort kostenlos zu besuchen.

We have stayed in this apartment before so we knew what to expect. The small patio is a bonus but this time we brought our own chairs as we don’t find those provided very comfortable. The bed is very comfortable but it is very warm up there~ we were glad of the fan. We found the Wi-Fi to be rather inconsistent ( not sure if it was like this before). There is a supermarket 1 minute walk away which is just perfect.

Lovely staff, lovely apartment, great location for food, groceries, and local culture. Would definitely recommend.

Appartment was cozy, clean, included comfortable bed and cooking facilities. Appartment is close to railway and coach station. I find it good for a short stay. Standard appartment for two persons was very small, largely because it was located in the attic (should take care of your head). I would recommend an appartment for 3 persons to stay as a couple. The hotel sends you a questionnaire in advance to improve your experience. However it looks like the answers were not taken into account at all.

Good apartment to stay overnight. If they could add a sign/ instructions in English regarding thier actual reception location, it will be very helpful for tourists who cannot read french (because their reception for check in and out is located in a different address).

Other than this, I am contented with staying at this apartment

Déclassé dans une chambre après avoir payé pour un appartement pour cause de surbooking.
Déjeuner offert mais la surprise fut assez désagréable. Heureusement le lit parapluie a pu rentrer.

La limpieza de los artículos y aparatos de cocina fue decepcionante.
No hay comunicación por teléfono al lobby que está a 2 cuadras.
Si llegan a mejorar eso, sería una gran opción.

Appartement propre et lit confortable. Bien situé dans un beau quartier.

Loved our apartment, would have been helpful to have a guide for microwave settings but otherwise could it fault our stay!

Lovel apartment, quiet but not far from centre

Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The location was great, very central and close to everything.

Check in was a shambles. After checking in we found our room had not been cleaned from the previous guest. We were told to come back in an hour. After an hour and a half we came back and the room was still being serviced. We had to wait a further 15 minutes.

The room that we were allocated on the second floor had a significant amount of space with limited head height. The pictures on the website are obviously of a different sized room. It would be OK if you were about 8 years old or really small. So not really satisfactory.

On the plus side the rooms are quite well equipped and are reasonably new and clean. The cleaning lady was super nice but front staff not so much considering our check in was unsatisfactory.

So if you are planning to stay and you are more than 4 feet tall avoid the second floor.

We are so pleased to have spent a few days here. Upgrading to this private accommodation was well worth it as it gave us a patio space within a courtyard setting. It was quite difficult to work this out in the booking process, however. This is comfortable and well-equipped and works well if the weather is good enough to sit outside. As the tv is only watchable from the bed, this is worth bearing in mind if it matters to you but it only has French channels.
