Not worth the money.
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

For £300 a night the room should be well finished and clean.

We got a shoddy, unclean mess instead.

Un bel soggiorno nel verde.
Pros:

La struttura immersa nel verde è indubbiamente bella e affascinante. Nonostante noi l’avessimo usata come base per visitare Hakone, la struttura è pensata come ritiro, dove poter stare tutto il giorno a rilassarsi. Per questo offre diverse attività come yoga, marshmallow sul fuoco, sala comune attrezzata con libri, giochi di società, musica, the e e caffè, ecc.

Cons:

In generale la struttura ha un grande potenziale ma alcuni dettagli lasciano un po’ l’amaro in bocca. Avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata. Le pareti sono molto sporche e avrebbero bisogno di una rinfrescata, alcune superficie di mobili sono un po danneggiate, la pulizia a tratti così così, ragnatele grandi negli spazi esterni, un pesce morto nello stagno, tende dell’onsen un po’ rotte, ecc. Con alcuni accorgimenti la struttura potrebbe riacquistare molto valore!

Really beautiful scenery, a nice retreat
Pros:

The property was in a beautiful location in the nature, the beds were super comfortable. The staff were very nice helping take our luggage from the car to our room. The breakfast was good. Fireplace was super nice to use. We really felt that we were in nature.

Cons:

We could tell the rooms needed to be touched up, repainted as it was super scuffed up like it didn’t feel as clean. Also the onsen was nice but the bath itself in the onsen wasnt fine but nothing special.

Pros:

Mooie grote kamer, veel ruimte en een mooi uitzicht over het groen. Ontbijt heel erg goed, veel keuze en vers.
Het is vanuit de bushalte een aardige klim naar boven, zeker met een koffer. Golfkarretje is het eerste deel niet beschikbaar. Hotel ligt ook een beetje in niemandsland. Als je niet meer wil lopen dan moet je op tijd in het restaurant reserveren want er is niet altijd plek of op gerekend dat er mensen komen eten.
Wel fijn dat toen we weggingen het busje ons naar de bushalte bracht!

Cons:

De klim naar boven was pittig zeker met koffer.

Jag rekommenderar inte detta boende, överprisat, smutsiga rum med mögel, dålig middag som kom in kall.
Pros:

Det enda som var bra med detta boende var att det låg fint till i naturen och var nära bussen.

Cons:

Det var inte bra städat på rummet, stora dammtussar syntes på lamporna, spindelnät i hörn, mögel i duschen. Väggarna var smutsiga och överspacklade på vissa ställen samt hade behövt en omgång av målning på väggar. Boendet försöker vara något det inte kan leva upp till, väldigt dyrt med tanke på att rummen inte ens kan städas ordentligt.

På middagen kom köttet in ljummet och deras kombination av matlagning var riktigt konstig. Min känsla var att de försökte hitta på coola maträtter men lyckades inte riktigt när man gör en soppa på pumpa, anka och kakao, blev nåt typ av varm choklad istället. Vi gjorde misstaget att ta den western dinner och inte den japanska menyn, så kan ju såklart vara därför. Personalen var dock väldigt trevlig och hade toppen service. Men under middagen är det inte kul när de står och stirrar medans man äter för att få vara först att komma och plocka tallriken, gissar på att de kanske var överbemannade och inte hade så mycket att göra kanske.

Sammanfattningsvis rekommenderar jag inte detta ställe då det var väldigt överprisat med tanke på vad du faktiskt får, finns nog många bättre ställen för om inte mindre pris. Jag kommer inte att komma tillbaka.

Die ruhige Lage im Wald

Cons:

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Halbpension war eh schon teuer und dann hat man immer noch versucht, einem noch Extras zu verkaufen. Der Essensraum war zu stark klimatisiert.

Perfect for a relaxing retreat
Pros:

The Retreat has everything you need to truly relax. The room is minimalistic and very calming with huge windows facing trees.
The food is one of best meals I ever had. The staff is very kind and thoughtful.

Cons:

The room only has a shower. You can use the Onsen, but you can‘t enter with tattoos that can’t be covered with seals.

Pros:

We absolutely loved this hotel. The space was beautiful and surrounded by nature, creating a very peaceful atmosphere. We especially loved the common area, with hammocks inviting you to slow down and enjoy the surroundings.

One of our favorite things was the selection of analogue pastimes available for guests: board games, books, musical instruments, coloring activities, and tea available whenever you wanted. It was such a lovely touch and made the stay feel especially cozy and welcoming.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable for a family of 4. Everything was thoughtfully designed to make you feel at home.

Without a doubt, this was the best hotel of our trip. We would happily come back!
