A very nice hotel on the seafront. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, breakfast is ok, staff is helpful and friendly. The location is ideal if you like to explore both the city and the beachfront.
Hotel Bellariva is very easy to find when arriving by car. It is situated by the Lungomare - the street next to Mar Adriatico - the Adrian Sea. The reception was friendly and helpful, rooms clean and big enough. The breakfast was good with a variety of yoghourts, various kinds of bread, marmalades and also ham, cheese and boiled eggs. Bellariva is just about one kilometer from the middle of Pescara so you can walk there and back.
The only thing about the Hotel is that the beach is across the street! That where it ends! I had a room that the toilet was in the shower! The room was too small. No amenities. (room service, laundry service,etc.).The breakfast was a joke. Please find other place to stay!
Great location for the beautiful beach, but hotel needs updating. We stayed one night as a stop over from Puglia up north. Room was clean and tidy and we did have a sea view which was great. But the bathroom was very small and shabby. There were several options at breakfast including fruit, cereals cheese bread and cakes. Parking is on the street and not always near to hotel, we booked in later on and found a space nearby
The hotel is in excellent location. Is very clean, the staff is very nice! Overall is a good hotel... the decoration is a little bit too old, but since is super clean we kind of don't might.
Far fron the city center but just in front of the sea.
If you search something modern this is not your place but perfect breakfast.
Not easy to find parking and you reserve the wrong room your sight will be a wall.
Nice space like dehors outside the main entrance
A perfect location just 10 meters from the sea beach. The hotel is 10-15 mins walking from Pescara central.
Hotel staff is extremely cordial, professional and quick with extended help during mid-night when we checked in.
Definitely worth a stay.
The hotel doesn't have a lift and that could be a challenge for some persons.
We were surprised by the size of the room (small) for a double, the shower was the size of a phone box & thats no joke !! As for the staff, you could not wish for more helpful & friendly people, they printed offmaps for us, gave us directions & the discounts to the the private beach were fantastic, although the bar owner took advantage of us being English & whacked up the drinks prices !!!
Stayed here with my wife for a week during the Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations. We came over for a family wedding and had never been to this part of Italy before. Boy! were we impressed. Antoinette and her family were so kind and gracious and looked after our every need. She recommended superb restaurants where we ate and drank like the locals even though our Italian was very limited. The hotel is situated across the road from the magnificent beach and there are plenty of beach bars for cold drinks and lunches etc. All in All I would recommend this hotel and would definitely go there again
The staff was very helpful, and they speak english very well. They were smiling and did the best they could to help us. we rented bikes, wnt by bus to Penne, tried a vine bar with testing, and we also had a swim in the adriatic ocean. The hotel can be proud of their employed.
There is little, other than great food and nearness to the sea, to recommend Pescara. But, if one has to go there (we have family, displaced by last year's earthquake in L'Aquila, living there), this hotel is a good choice. Our room, though small, was clean with a small balcony over-looking the long promenade and the ocean. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. At the end of our four night stay, we felt like we had known them for years. Hotel does not have parking, but it is available (for free) on the street in front. We never had a problem finding a space, but then, we were there off-season.
They promise us good price because we are a young couple of student, and actually they did us a 10% reduction but then they put us in the worst room of the hotel, view on the parking, no terasse, noisy location ...
But service was good and location pretty good too.
They abuse renting bikes that even a dump would not take.
But it can be a good hotel for full-wallet people !!
