Lovely breakfast
I was surprised that the rooms were not serviced during our stay although we could ask if we wanted anything.
Nice place easy to find , all clean and staff helpful . Breakfast was v good lots of choice .
Shower took a while to sort .
The staff very friendly and helpful the tv did keep dropping out which wads bad as Englands name was playing on one of our nights we wer staying. The breakfast was good wi fi was also ok but not perfect lovley location
Tv and wi fi were restrictive
Breakfast was fantastic. Room great with lovely view.
Nothing.
Minimale keuze. Eten was wel goed, niets mis mee.
Geen sfeer
Nice comfortable accomodation. food good though i was not offered a desert or another drink whilst still at the table.
The whole experience was soured within seconds of arrival by the attitude of the 'gentleman' booking me in. Having parked my motorcycle in a designated car parking space for the duration of my stay I was told, completely unsolicited, that I could not take my motorcycle around on a path to park outside the accommodation with the additional comment " you motorcyclists seem to think you can do what you like". A Basil Fawlty level of rudeness (without the humour) that will ensure that I do not return.
Friendly staff and comortable room
The shower in room 3 had to keep pressing the start button perhaps faulty
Everything is beautiful

So very impressed with the lodge. The beds were really comfortable, we had a nice strong shower with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was probably the best we have had ever in the UK! The variety was amazing and really tasty. Even the variety of milks was quite impressive. And a great location, close enough to everywhere we wanted to visit yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of tge town. Really highly recommend
A slight issue with the water drainage in the wet room but we got it sorted
Warm welcome. Very quiet room with area to sit outside. Great view across open countryside. Telescope and tripod to further enjoy the views. Comfortable bed. Off street parking. Very good value for money.
Nothing really but a fan would have been helpful during this hot spell. Thankfully we had brought our own.
Great breakfast, good location and quiet despite being on the main road. The rooms were spacious and comfortable
Lovely warm room
Comfortable bed
Amazing breakfast
Two night short break, wish it was longer
Requested more refreshments, brought to room immediately
More tea, sugar and milk please
the weather
Very welcoming staff , went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. Delicious breakfast
We stayed in a twin bedded room as I was staying with my elderly mother, The beds were narrower then I'm used to so neither of us slept that well unfortunately but the room was accessible which is what we needed.
Good position between Hastings and Rye. Good sized clean and comfortable room on the first floor with lovely views. Very good english breakfast too.

The location
The staff were extremely helpful polite and friendly
The place was exceptionally clean
The breakfast exceptionally good
Enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend to freinds and relatives
Have no complaints
Positives - extremely good value for money, room and linen and towels spotlessly clean. Fantastic breakfast with lots of choices. Free parking right outside the hotel.
Mattress a little hard, and the springs could be felt. Breakfast staff were lovely but a poor experience with a member of staff on arrival - we questioned the noisy roof fan directly outside our room, as we needed the window open on a warm evening. The person behind the bar didn’t look at us or acknowledge us and said it goes off at 8pm when the kitchen closes. It actually went off at 9pm so we were left wondering about it for an hour . A friendly answer and the truth wouldn’t have hurt.
