Pros:

Nice and cosy countryside hotel. The room was spacious enough, clean and overall good price/performance. The area around the hotel is very well kept, and the fountain with a fish pond definitely adds to the character of the place. The breakfast was good, plenty of choices and good coffee. We stayed here in the middle of the heatwave, so it got a bit hot, so the fan in the room helped. The location is by a busy road, so expect some noise at times.

Cons:

Windows need adjusting, as even fully closed you could hear the road and other noise.

Good value for money, enjoyed the breafast.
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing! It was also included in the price. The locations was convenient for our trip. The staff was really nice.

Cons:

The wifi was not good, if you want to work from here, wouldn’t recommend. There was a lot of spider webs around the night stands. Other than thats very clean and nice.

Lovely time once again at Winchelsea Lodge.
Pros:

Stayed there many years ago & remember it fondly as we will also do this time. Lovely spacious room, great variety of breakfast, we had a very nice dinner on our first night, portions enourmous. Very friendly helpful staff. This is a great base. Good free car park (vip for us)
Hope we can get another visit before the end of the season. Thank you 😊

Cons:

Having to leave 😅

Pros:

Die Lage

Cons:

Für ein 4-Stern Hotel war das Zimmer sehr klein. Wir hatten kaum Platz für unser Gepäck. Die Halterung der Brause in der Dusche war defekt.

Pros:

Good value.

Good communication. Helpful staff.

Appreciated the fan!

Cons:

Short hanging space with fixed hangers - guess this is for shirts/jackets only (where is a woman supposed to hang a dress/skirt?).

Couldn't get tv to work - no signal.
