fair hotel but need improvement
Pros:

the room is spacious
not so big hotel, so i like it coz near the road
the pool quite alright, since the height managed to used by children
the staff are polite and helpful

Cons:

i hate the bed : bad pillows (not hold my head and neck) and i ask for the bed cover to changed the moment we enter first time, coz lots of stains.
there's only 1 bathrobe in each rooms. where there should be 2 each, since 4 of us inside.
the food at breakfast, some.good and some didnt (baked potatoes were cold and several food like kwetiau were cold too)
during stay. we heard noises from upstair,.mostly in the bathroom, never knew what it is.

Pros:

Fijne kamer van alle gemakken voorzien. Locatie goed om van daaruit Makassar te ontdekken. Mogelijkheid om gebruik te maken van de sportschool.

Cons:

Het zwembad is fijn, maar erg druk en telkens als ik het bezocht (zowel smiddags als savonds) vol met spelende kinderen. Het voelt dus meer aan als een zwemparadijs in het weekend dan een zwembad om te relaxen en af te koelen.

Pros:

A good experiences to spend my biztrip Makassar, stay in Melia Hotel. The warm welcoming from the receptionist staff, helpful and fast responses. The gym also good.

Great Stay
Pros:

The hotel located at a strategic area, surrounded by eatieries, cafes, pharmacy and convenience stores. The standard room was spacious and neat. The bed was big and comfortable.. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The hallway was a bit noisy cause you can hear people's voice from outside, but when you're in the room, it's actually not noisy. However, Makassar has a lot of mosques, so you can still hear the mosques during prayer calls. Overall, my stay was great and would definitely recommend this hotel to those who plan on visiting Makassar city.
