Boujis Boutique Resort

The staff are very helpful and easy to contact and provide imformation and booking for activities. Water is provided daily and breakfast was included as well as a 20% discount when eating at Dr. Frog's (on property dining and bar which was quite good). Some units require the use of steep stairs, and some tile work shows signs of age. The rooms themselves are spacious, clean, comfortable, well decorated and well supplied with a mini-bar and other amenities.
Depending on what kind of trip you want on Koh Samui, Boujis Resort may be right for you. It is an 18 minute walk to the nearest 7-11, and in between 2 of the most popular beaches (Chaweng and Lamai) which about 1h walk or more and Coral Cove which is only 18 minutes walk. There is access to the water adjacent to the resort which is mostly boulders into the water. The Resort is located in a hilly area and when walking around, you'll often find yourself walking on curvy inclined/declined roadway. If you'd like to avoid the noisy night life and dont mind using Grab or a Taxis, Boujis Resort is great!

The restaurant and views are fantastic. But you have to drive in and out- not walkable.

But red aunts everywhere, no access to beach by feet (road too busy with no sidewalk) and no blackout curtains.

Warm friendly staff. Lovely apartment and view. On site restaurant Doctor Frogs superb. 100 percent recommended.

Very many steps and slopes everywhere but nice villa. Tv - you need to be a rocket scientist to get that working. You need a taxi to get anywhere

Nice hotel with spacious rooms. The hotel is attached to the Dr Frog restaurant which has really great food (good reviews online), so if your getting taxi just say the restaurant, it’s the same place.

The staff were really friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely pool with views over the bay.

Rooms are a little tired but nice and considering cost it’s a great value for money hotel with amazing views of the bay and good quality restaurant (again great views).

It’s about a 10 minute walk to the south chewang beach which is soft sand palm trees a few bars and restaurants but overall quite quiet and peaceful compared to the main beach area. The walk to the beach is on a 4 lane road, no pavement but not a big deal really, perhaps you would not want to do it in dark. There are ride behind trucks/taxis running up and down this main road regularly which you could use if you don’t want to walk to beach or to get into main part of Chewang charge is 100thb /$3 each, (same for beach or into chewang). These are common in many parts of Thailand (trucks with seating in the back that act as bus service), if your not used to these, just hold your hand up, they will pull over and you hop into back. Knock on cab window when you want to hop off.

For the price - a great place to stay if you want to be a little bit away from the main noisy area.

Well, I would give the accommodation itself a high rating. Top notch in rooms, comfort, restaurant, and service. BUT, location is very inconvenient. One must walk (dangerous along the road) or take public transport to any other location. While the staff is friendly and helpful, the owner/manager (who are they??) are never seen. They never greet anyone. The chef never comes out to check if things served are satisfactory. Good for one time visit--done.

What a nice place! The restaurant menu is awesome. We had a very nice view of the ocean. I enjoyed the pool very much as it was very hot during our vacation. Be aware that it’s almost impossible to go out of the resort by foot. There are no pedestrian walkways on the road. You will need to rent a motobike or pay for a taxi to go in town. If you follow the pedestrian walkway inside the resort toward south there is a taxi and motobike rental.

This resort is overrated for its price!!! Location is really bad, 10 meters away from a 4lane highway. With noisy traffic day and night. We asked for a more quiet room but staff could not help us. We had deluxe villa with ocean view for 5 people at a rate of 7000TBT. Real ocean view’ is different from advertised : we saw the roof of the bungalow in front of us. You can’t get anywhere without a taxi. Walking is impossible because of busy highway. Restaurant has nice oceanview but triple prices what we were used to in thailand.

Den utsikten fra hotellrommet og hotellets restaurant (Dr Frogs) er magisk.
Maten som serveres i restauranten er veldig god (f.eks. BBQ pork ribs) og frokosten har egen meny så du kan bestille frokosten din nøyaktig slik du vil ha den.
Det er grei parkeringsplass utenfor hotellet. Når du saumfarer google maps for å sjekke dette så vises kun Dr Frogs, men det er her du bør parkere 😁
Det er litt bratt ned til hotellrommene så det kan lønne seg å være litt lett til bens. Spesielt når koffertene skal bæres. Rengjøringspersonalet var veldig på og hjalp til med å bære bagasjen opp trappene igjen når vi sjekket ut ❤️
Det tar ca. 10 min å kjøre inn til Chaweng. De kan fikse taxi i baren, evt. så kjører det tuk tuk taxier forbi som du kan vinke på så stopper de. Den koster mindre og er ett litt artig fremkomstmiddel i motsetning til en vanlig taxi. Koster vel kun 50 baht pr. person inn til sentrum.

I was so looking forward to my stay here. However, I checked-in and checked-out 30-minutes later.

This place is NOTHING like the photos!
It's at best a hostel/backpacker level.

While the price currently is indictive of a hostel, the photos (hotels.com/official website) of a serene and spotlessly clean and well-appointed resort are far from the truth of reality.

Stains, dirt, dust, sweat, and worn out fixtures - especially the outdoor area.

While Covid is a difficult time, at the very least cleanliness should be a priority.

Отличный отдых, огромная терраса, очень отзывчивый персонал. Небольшой минус в том, что отель находится достаточно далеко от инфраструктуры, но без байка на островах делать нечего. Комаров нет. Кровать отличная. Засыпать под шум моря восхитительно. Бассейн супер. Но до хороших пляжей надо ехать.

Very nice , quiet resort , with beautiful sea view. We can recommend to rent villa with see view. Breakfast very tasteful, you select one dish, get cofee and fresh juice( smothie ) to it - really good. The staff is really nice ,helpful - from the waitress to the cleaning ladies.
The only disadvantage is that if you go to the neacj , yoi have to walk some 400 metres along very bus road

Had a great stay at Boujis! The view from our Executive suite was incredible, and their restaurant was great every time we ate there. 5 stars all the way!
