Hofbrau Riverfront Hotel

Reserved room jacuzzi tub only for guy yo give to lady in front then said all reserved so I had to settle for a room on 3RD FLOOR .I am elderly and walking up 2 flights was hard. Will not stay there again . Parking was also terrible.

Had a hard time getting to the river from the hotel. They advertised that it has a private beach but I never saw that or found it. I had to make my own way and it was growed up.

Property needs to be cleaned up. Tarps covering stuff. PVC pipe laying outside. Spider webs along outside walls and breeze ways. Broken outside furniture.

Bed bugs in room management behavior problem.

The cleanliness of the hotel itself was very poor. The first room we were given had spiders literally everywhere. I requested a different room and the second room had spiders everywhere, despite the manager saying that it had been redone. Both rooms also smelled of cigarette smoke.
When I requested a refund because we decided to not stay there, I was told it was nonrefundable and that spiders were part of the nature.
Spiders are indeed a part of nature, but the amount of spiders that we saw in the rooms was unacceptable and due to lack of cleaning.

Stunk smelled old. Not enough pillows. Had to get help unlocking door twice and the receptionist kid is who helped us and we were told couldnt put key card by phone or it deactivates it. Above us was so loud not sure if the receptionist family or other vacationers but they ran and jumped all night. Me and my daughter barely slept all night.

Microwavable food.
I feel like I should receive a percentage of a refund

The room did need some more cleaning and maintenance to make it completely worth the money.

The extremely poor room conditions

We PAID FOR a room that they refused to place us in upon arrival. You must pay in advance for this hotel so once you get there you're stuck. We were forced to drag a bed from another room to sleep on!!!!

Staff was rude, rooms smelled horrible, mold in the showers, checked into dirty rooms.

Barn door was odd for the bathroom. Key card for room was difficult was muggy and the sheets seemed not clean.

We enjoyed everything they had to offer.

Cleanliness.....smoke detector actually plugged in and operational

Tub had dirty ring. Jets in tub didn't work, found switch to jets in closet after bath. Halls were dirty. Ceilings and walls need repair. Toilet seat cover was spray painted. Bird nest in staircase with bird poop on hand rails and step. Bathroom light fixture rusty

It was dirty, the doors would not shut with out slamming them the bathroom floor tile was busted up with standing water. After itching through out the night I found 1 adult and multiple baby bed bugs. But this was in the morning I’m sure there were more hidden at that time.

It was awful. Old, dingy and terrible cigarette smoke smell. When I returned my key without staying the woman asked me if I wanted an air freshener

The facility was in detail need of maintenance. Inside the rooms or was barely okay but the exterior felt like a slum tenement. Some minor maintenance, paint, and repairs; and this place could be a goldmine for the owners, they could double their rent and still be packed with guests. As it is, it feels abandoned and dreary.
