Enjoyed our stay - clean comfortable room, good food and nice staff.
Pros:

Very clean, good location if you are going to be in Griesalp. Food was good, nice staff.

Cons:

They use a number of hotel buildings interchangeably so it’s hard to predict which one you will be in (can’t comment on the ones we didn’t stay in).

Obacht Motorradfahrer: 28 % Steigung auf den letzten 2 km!
Pros:

Die Lage ist atemberaubend. Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit. Sehr gutes Frühstück! Auf- Und Abfahrt mit dem Postauto möglich. Bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen ist nur möglich, wenn man Wassergeräusche liebt (Bach und Wasserfall).

Cons:

Die Auffahrt zum Hotel ist vor allem für Motorradfahrer nicht ganz ungefährlich (28 % Steigung) mit vielen Serpentinen.
Unser Zimmer war nicht direkt im Gasthof sondern nebenan in einer Hütte. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, kein Licht am Bett, keine Steckdose im Badezimmer, kein Föhn, die Betten waren furchtbar, sie knarrten bei jeder noch so kleinen Bewegung.

Pros:

The people were very helpful and accommodating. The food was very good, we went mainly for local menu and it was worth the try. Breakfast was also very good. the location was spectacular although arriving there was a bit of an adventure, particularly the last few kms of the road.

Cons:

there were quite a few flies, although that doesn't depend on the facility and the owners but on the physical location I guess

Loved our time here. Robert in the restaurant was an absolute gem and all of the food was outstanding. Terese the owner was so kind and went out of her way to make our stay extra special. She was amazing. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Switzerland. This is a magical place!

Ausgangslage für die Wanderung über das Hohtürli. Zimmer mit Balkon im obersten Stock.

Cons:

Unbequemes Bett und unbequeme Stühle. Harte Matratze. Muffiger Duft im Zimmer.

Die Gegend ist traumhaft, für Wanderer/Biker/Family ein Genuss - Hotel nicht unbedingt ein Muss ;-)
Pros:

Lage, Zimmer mit traumhaftem Weitblick, toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Die Fahrt zum Hotel ist abenteuerlich und nicht ungefährlich, so etwas erlebt man nicht alle Tage. Man kann aber auch mit dem Postauto sich hochfahren lassen.

Cons:

Das Essen hat uns für den Preis leider nicht überzeugt, kann auch Geschmackssache sein. Frühstück insbesondere in den Bergen kennen wir anders, wirklich magere Auswahl, nicht mal Gipfeli gabs oder war abgezählt, es hat so lange es hat Prinzip. Das ganze Hotel ist wohl eher auf Massentourismus ausgelegt, Quantität anstatt Qualität.
