Niemals ins Berner Oberland ohne Griesalp.
Pros:

Die Griesalp ist ein phantastisch gelegener Ort, am Ende einer Bergstraße und mitten in einem schönen Wandergebiet für Tageswanderungen oder auch größere Touren. Super nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal - in allen Bereichen - gaben mir ein "Gefühl des Ankommens". Es ist kein knarziges, vergessenes Berghotel, sondern der Ort mit einer gewissen "modernen Gediegenheit", und unerwartetem Luxus in dieser Höhe.

Cons:

Leider musste ich auch wieder abreisen und bin heute nicht mehr dort.

Wir kommen in diese Unterkunft nicht noch einmal zurück!
Pros:

Die Lage war super, allerdings nur für Wanderer, nicht für „normale“ Touristen, da der Weg zu den touristischen Highlights zu weit entfernt war und der Weg vom Berg hinunter abenteuerlich mit dem Auto war.

Cons:

Die Chefin war manchmal ungehalten und wusste nicht wie man Zufriedenheit beim Gast bewirken kann. Sie hat es nicht geschafft innerhalb von 7 Tagen den Tresor im Zimmer zur Nutzung zu öffnen. Beim Frühstück hat sie ihrem Personal die Anweisung gegeben kein Spiegelei zu machen weil zu wenig Personal vor Ort war. Bei diesem Preis, den wir für Übernachtung mit Frühstück gezahlt haben, unmöglich!

Super hôtel sur la route de la Via alpina. Personnel super accueillant a la réception ( parle en français)et au restaurant.Trés bon petit déjeuner.
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel !!!

Cons:

La route d'accès au logement avec une route étroite, très sinueuse et inclinée à 28% pendant 2 kms.
Regardez les horaires de passages sur le panneau car 2 voitures ne se croisent pas.

endroit improbable à découvrir
Pros:

cadre assez exceptionnel sur un perchoir au milieu des montagnes et des rivières...!
de bons repas le matin et le soir...
la route pour y accéder vraiment incroyable et rock'n'roll !

Schönes Frühstück, aber …

Ein paar Gedanken zur Gastronomie, konkret zum Frühstück:

Das Frühstück an sich war schön hergerichtet. Der Frühstücksraum ebenfalls. Aber…

Warum so pedantisch? Wenn das Frühstück schon auf (für Wanderer späte) 7:30 Uhr angesetzt ist, dann ist das eine Sache. Wenn dann aber die Türe zum Frühstücksraum erst genau um 7:30 Uhr aufgeschlossen wird, so ist das einfach nur pedantisch! Weil viele Gäste genau dann kommen, müssen diese zuerst einmal in Kolonne an der „Fassstrasse“ anstehen. Sehr ungemütlich! Was wäre, wenn einzelne Gäste bereits früher eintreten würden/könnten? Sie würden ein paar von den bereits verfügbaren Dingen mit an den Platz nehmen und dann später weitere Dinge holen. Wäre doch kaum ein Problem für diejenigen, die das Frühstück herrichten. Und Kolonnen gäbe es auch weniger. Oder geht’s ums Erziehen der Gäste? Ich hoffe, diese Vermutung trifft nicht zu, weil sie auch keinen Sinn machen würde.

Wie wäre es mit etwas dezenter Musik zum Frühstück? Gäbe allenfalls eine freundlichere und lockere Atmosphäre im Raum.

Die Behälter bzw. das Besteck für das Joghurt sind einfach nur ungeeignet. Mit einem normalen Löffel aus diesen Glasbehältern schöpfen macht nur Sinn, wenn den Gästen das Schöpfen vergrault werden soll.

Zum Teil fehlte die Zuckerdose auf einzelnen Tischen. Warum den Zucker dann nicht gleich neben die Kaffeemaschine stellen?

Ein Deziliter - Gläser für den Orangensaft. Will man das weniger konsumiert wird? Ich hoffe, diese Vermutung trifft nicht zu.

Wenn ein Gast beim Frühstück nach heissem Wasser für seine Thermoskanne fragt und die Antwort erhält: Ja, aber nur gegen Aufpreis, dann sträuben sich bei mir die Haare. Bei den bestehenden Preisen in Hotel und Restaurant kann ich mir kaum vorstellen, dass hier so eng kalkuliert werden muss. Und welchen Eindruck erzeugt eine solche Aussage bei den Gästen?

Awesome location, clean, nice updated rooms, perfect outdoor restaurant.
Pros:

Location was awesome! We were hiking the Via Alpina so it worked great for us. Rooms were spotless and had everything we needed including wifi. They have a bus that stops right at the hotel and will take you down to the train station. The bus driver was the best tour guide telling us all about the area. Outside restaurant area with good cold beer and hot food. Loved it
