Vivo Stay

A budgeted hostel. Room is spacious and the condition toilet is acceptable with the paid rate. Location not bad. May think of come back it.

まだ建設途中でエレベーターがなく、3階までの登り降りが大変でした。部屋の鍵の調子が悪く、閉じ込められて困った。施設は新しく清潔で良かった。

Hotel is in good location near to Medan mall. Very basic but affordable. There is no lift and our room was on level 5! Fortunately we didn’t have much luggage. Staff was helpful

Personnel de l'accueil ne parlant pas anglais ce n'était pas simple surtout que ma réservation n'était pas à la bonne date et que cela à dû être changé (ma faute). Le lit est très confortable, le reste est normal, la climatisation met du temps à refroidir l'ensemble de la chambre mais une fois que c'est froid c'est froid ! C'était propre dans l'ensemble. Juste demander du PQ si vous en avez besoin à l'accueil, j'ai donc eu l'occasion d'utiliser pour la première fois le jet d'eau après 3 mois en Asie du sud-est.

Los baños estaban realmente sucios, como si no los hubieran lavado, es verdad que el precio era bajo. Pero se espera un mínimo de higiene...

The stay was basic. The room’s clean and well-prepared. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My complaints are: the AC is not working very well hence we felt uncomfortable in the room in most times; not enough sockets in the room (one socket was behind the TV and it was pretty difficult to use); there was a water outage but handled by the staff quickly; and the lift was being built at that time. Other than that, the location’s great and the hotel’s minimalistic design is a favorite.

Good budget hotel. Clean, cozy, and near to town.

The downside for me are
1) No lift for 3 levels of hotel
2) Water for bath smells like corroded metal

the only thing prost is just location, nothing more.
i though there s breakfast included.

Room was clean, only thing was that the lock of the room was pretty hard to open

Positives: communal sitting area where you can grab a beer, coffee or food; friendly staff; air conditioning.

Negatives: our door didn't lock; room smelled like cigarette smoke; elevator was out of order;

Het is een nieuw hotel, het is nog in opbouw volgens mij. De kamer op zich deze voor de prijs prima. Maar er is ook nog een school in het pand aanwezig volgens mij. In de rommelige lobby zitten ook veel studenten te werken. Bij aankomst 's avonds rond 22u was het moeilijk nog iets te eten te vinden. De volgende dag bleek het centrum met diverse restaurants toch niet zo ver. Maar dat wist men mij niet te vertellen ...
De ligging is verder wel ok, geen fraaie omgeving. De transfer vanaf de luchthaven was prima geregeld (wel 20.000 rupiah, ongeveer 1,5€, meer dan vermeld op de website. Avondtarief?)

Friendly staff and they gave us many assistance in the tour such as clearly information and directory. They will recommend some nice places and even help us in the transportation. Accommodation condition is quite good as it is a new hotel.

The venue is within the reach of any destination which we are asking for. Helpful in providing information regarding
local transportation and eateries.

The location is great, especially for business traveler. However, it is a new small hotel and many people do not recognize it. Moreover it is located in a one-way road, therefore if you miss it you should turn around. Therefore it is quite difficult to be found.

The service was so-so. They did not clean my room during my 4 night stays. At my first night stay the desk in the room was broken, and I changed my room for other nights.

Overall it is value for money.

I stayed 4 nights at Vivo Stay and can highly reccomend it.
The property is new, the room was spacious with good (hot) water pressure and AC.
They also serve very good food at very affordable prices.
The location is excellent. There are two food streets a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. There are also ATMs and convenience stores nearby. The Great Mosque, the Maimun Palace and the Tjong A Fien Mansion are also only a few minutes away.
But what really made my stay special was the very welcoming and friendly staff!
I will definitely stay again there next time I'm in Medan.

Great hotell.. They told us that the hotel is only 3 month old... That's good.. But second floor is still not done.. So workers start early.. And the room.. You shud ask for a room near the stair, better wifi here :) it's smaller room, but worth it..

아직 완공이 안된 상황,. 주변도 좋지는 않음.
하지만 일단 신축이다보니 너무 깨끗하고 좋음.
침대의 베드자체가 4성급보다 더 좋음.

더 중요한것은 화교인데, 호텔을 신축하는듯.
너무 친절하게 설명을 해주시고, 직접 약도까지 그려가면서 설명을 해서 좋았고, 비가 오니 기다리셨다가 우산까지 주시는것이 좋았음.
물론 특급이나 중급 호텔 갈 사람들은 가도 되는데 나 같은 장기 여행자들은 최고...

메단은 실망이지만 정말로 정을 느끼게 해주는 최고의 호텔이었음
