We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The setting is absolutely breathtaking — nestled into the hillside with stunning views of the water, beautiful architecture, and lush greenery everywhere you look. It truly feels like a hidden paradise, peaceful and special, and the rooms and common areas are just as gorgeous as the scenery.
The staff were also incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay, which really added to the overall experience and made us feel well taken care of.

Cons:

The only downside was that there were quite a lot of people constantly taking photos and videos of themselves around the property, which sometimes took away from the serene atmosphere.

Mooie locatie aan het meer met prachtig uitzicht. Het complex heeft een mooie en goed onderhouden tuin. Kamers zijn prima. Het is makkelijk om de boten aan te houden en naar andere dorpen te gaan.

Cons:

Er is niet veel in de buurt voor ‘s avonds als de boten niet meer gaan (rond 19u). Het eten in het hotel is duur. In Jaibalito zijn er beperkt alternatieven.

Amazing place, best place to stay around lake Atilian!
Pros:

Fantastic stay, just a beautiful hotel with so much attention to detail. Great swimming, stunning views and nice food. Staff also amazing! Tranquil and stunning.

Cons:

Room 5 is close to the restaurant, by 9:30pm noise dies down but by 7:00am people are having coffees there. They do try to keep to quiet hours and this is a budget room so as long as you know the above it’s all good!

Friendly hotel with great staff and the most beautiful views on the lake!
Pros:

First time on location, views were breathtaking! Staff were so welcoming, friendly, attentive and caring. The hotel is beautiful and the views of Lake Atitlan with volcanoes are hard to beat anywhere else around the lake. The hotel is beautifully maintained, the garden well labeled and cared for. Swimming in the lake; Guatemalan coffee and delicious menu daily. The food is prepared fresh with delicious produce, made from scratch. I highly recommend the beef dinner, it was my favorite!
I snatched up the last private room for two nights (Room 16), with my own private balcony/sitting area. It has a very nice view of the lake from the bed. Very clean, you have all you need in the room, well worth the price. I would definitely want to come back and stay at this piece of paradise again.
You can easily wait at the dock for a boat to take you anywhere around the lake to visit the other towns. They pass by daily.
NOTE: 1. there are a lot of steps since it is built on a cliff, there are massive steps to climb up/down to get to the front desk/rooms/lake, if you don’t mind going up and down the stairs, I would highly recommend to anyone, definitely a great workout! They do have someone that can/will take your luggage up and down for you (please make sure to tip them!) 2. while it has a hot tub, it's for private use only between certain times and you need to reserve ahead of time.
The lake is beautiful, clean and clear. You can jump off the cliffs to the lake, there are many terraces and platforms to sun bath and enjoy the view all over the place. It can get slippery going in/out of the lake, maybe putting a hand rail by the lake would be nice since it is not easy to get out of the lake especially when it gets wavy after noon time, possible floats for swimming would be a great addition.
Payment is made at the end of check out, they don’t accept credit cards but can pay via Paypal, Venmo or ACH.
Overall it was an amazing stay for us.

Cons:

The stairs! lol I wouldn't say I didn't like, but it humbled me quick, I need to get back to working out.
