Excellent budget hotel that does not compromise quality because of the low price. Friendly Staff. Convenient lobby cafe open until late.
Actually this property outshined my expectations. Booked 3 rooms on short notice with 2 colleagues. Had low expectations due to the excellent prices.
Arrived at 10am planning to just drop our bags in the lobby due to the early arrival before going out for meetings. The gentleman at the reception immediately contacted housekeeping and arranged 3 rooms. Rooms are very modern and incredibly clean. Grest restaurant and also a cafe in the lobby. Really cant say enough positive things about this property. Everyone we interacted with were extremely friendly. Will definitely be staying in this hotel on all my future Riyahd trips.
TOP Hotel jedoch mit der Instandhaltung ist man hintendran! Schlecht behobene Wasserschäden und Silikon sollte viel helfen. Frühstücksbüffet für fast 20€ pro Person war uns zu teuer, nachdem täglich 80€ pro Person fürs Zimmer verlangt wurden. Supermarkt ist praktisch 2 Gebäude weiter. Wir wollten eigentlich nrt aufs Ronaldo-Fussballspiel und das wurde über 2 Tage später verlegt und da waren wir leider schon abgereist. Wir fragten unzählige Leute, ob man wenigstens eine Trainingsveranstaltung besuchen kann und wurden nur VERARSCHT!
Fridge is not working, in four nights the room got cleaned and serviced one time. I asked for water they said we will get it right away, 40 minutes after I had to follow up.

It’s worth every penny I paid compared to other similar properties.
The Hotel and staff were ok but nothing worked properly! I checked in and no internet. They spent half an hour trying to get me online. Then it dropped out again and didn't come back. The moved me to another room where it worked (although not great). There was no TV remote. They brought me one but that only worked intermittently. The coffee machine was broken. The ironing board and the iron were broken. The second ironing board they brought me was broken too. I ironed on the floor! I went upstairs to the restaurant for dinner. No-one there except me. I asked for a sprite and waited 20 mins and then gave up and went to the downstairs restaurant. On the way down I met the waiter coming with my drink - a Pepsi because they ran out of sprite. The shower door has a big gap at the bottom and water escaped flooding the bathroom floor. No towels etc available up at the pool. Staff were nice enough and bed was comfortable. Just frustrating that nothing worked!
Excellent stay. I arrived very late due to flight delay and as soon as I entered lobby the reception knew my name and had all organised for me.
Room was spacious and perfect for what I needed.
Rooftop pool was a great touch as well as the gym which was dated but again perfect for my need.
Staff were superb from start to finish. WIFI quality was great.
Supermarket close enough to walk to.
Overall highly recommended if on business in Riyadh.
I recently had an experience with Grand Plaza that was unfortunately VERY unsatisfactory.
Due to the fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk being canceled, I no longer needed my booking.
I was disappointed to find that the hotel was unwilling to offer a refund or credit for the rescheduled fight in May!
While I understand the importance of cancellation policies, I had hoped for some degree of flexibility under the circumstances. All of my friends at different hotels had got at least 50% refund.
This experience has cost me over £500 and unfortunately affected my view of the hotel and my likelihood of booking in the future.
I believe more accommodating policies during unforeseen events would significantly improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The reception employee, Mr. Faisal was very professional and super friendly and made us feel like home. The bell desk clerk was also very active and polite.
The hotel seemed to have been renovated with big rooms and modern furniture along with a very well equipped bathroom. There is also a 24 hour room service but we did not use it as we were there for one night and we checked in way past midnight after having dinner outside.
The main issues we had were the TV remote control that did not work and the walls being too thin as we were able to hear people walking and talking in the hallway and passing by our door.
Staff are very friendly. Nehal was very friendly and she was very good in her service at the hotel reception.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for business travellers.
Definitely will not book again in this hotel! The shower glass door was broken, so the water comes out and fully cover the bathroom floor. When I told them, they did nothing! Not even give us the chance to change our room. Also, the breakfast was waste of money and it could be better. Basically, I did not get what I payed for. Anyway, when I checked out, in an unrespectful way, they asked me to wait for few minutes while they are checking the status of the room! Definitely this is my first and last visit.
Room is modern, spacious and clean. My only complaint is the available extras I didn’t have. No toiletries in the bathroom no drinks or snacks in the room I would expect that in a less expensive room but I paid for the most expensive room. I called house keeping and asked for a comb and extra blanket and they told me they don’t have any. None of the TVs had remotes which isn’t a big deal but still.
Not-so-good:
- The breakfast menu was very limited and not too good.
- The batteries on the bathroom scales and TV remote were dead so Im asked for them to be replaced. They weren't.
- The coffee and milk in my room were not replaced.
This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. I've had better experiences in 2 and 3-star hotels.
I often visit Riyadh for business, this hotel is very close to all Govt. Offices
Food was very delicious and staff is very supportive specially Mr Syed Taha. One suggestion is that Pakistani food can also be included in menu. You can add Indian and Pakistani food. Thanks for hospitality.

The service of the hotel lagged ambition. Emails were ignored and even someone calling the hotel was given the answer yes, yes, of course and notihng happened.
They are slow to comply and for me the name set way to high expectations.

The internet connection was getting disconnected. Was told that the IT person is fixing it but could not get it up and running. My colleague had breakfast and he mentioned it was great.
