Overall my experience was awesome! Went for my boyfriends’s birthday and had an amazing time at Hotel Hive! 10/10 Re
Pros:

I loved how close the property was to the metro! Everything was so close and not a bad walk to the monuments and dinner spots!

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact there isn’t a microwave! it’s just a little inconvenient!

Would definitely stay again , not one bad thing about staying at The Hive.
Pros:

Great property, staff were all very friendly and helpful, Room was great, me and my son loved the bunk beds. Breakfast & Pizza was very good and very reasonable. Dog friendly. You couldn’t beat the location, walkable to many DC destinations.

Gutes Hotel für einen City - Trip, wenn man mit kleinen Hotelzimmern zurechtkommt
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels eignet sich perfekt um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig zu erkunden. Mehrere Restaurants und Supermärkte sind um die Ecke.
Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich, egal ob an der Rezeption, Dachterasse oder beim Frühstück.

Cons:

Auch wenn man es vorher weiß - die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr klein. Mehr als zwei Koffer sollte man nicht dabei haben und selbst damit wird es schon eng.
Die Zimmer werden nur auf Nachfrage gereinigt, ebenso Müll entsorgt und Handtücher ausgetauscht. Das finden wir an sich super, ein kleiner Rabatt (z.B. in Form eines Getränkgutscheins für die Bar, oder Wasser auf das Zimmer) wenn man verzichtet, wäre nett.
Uns fehlte noch ein Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer.
Beim Frühstück konnten wir an beiden Tagen, an denen wir dort gefrühstückt haben, nicht alles von der Karte (Obstbecher) bestellen. Das war etwas schade.

Una colmena que se siente como estar en casa.
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente, a unos 500m del memorial de Lincoln. El hotel es muy acogedor y la pizzeria en la planta baja está super bien. El personal muy atento, guardaron nuestras valijas después del check out por un par de horas para que pudieramos aporvechar el ultimo dia.

Pros:

My stay at Hotel Hive in Washington, D.C. was truly a wonderful experience. I was traveling alone and had come all the way from Poland, so it was especially important to me to stay somewhere where I could feel safe, comfortable, and at ease. Hotel Hive turned out to be exactly that kind of place.
What impressed me most was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. From the very beginning, I felt genuinely welcomed, and the warmth of the staff made it such a pleasure to come back to the hotel after a long day of exploring Washington.
I also absolutely loved the atmosphere of the hotel. It is relaxed, friendly, and has something truly special about it. Hotel Hive doesn’t feel impersonal — it has character and a unique charm that makes you feel comfortable almost immediately.
I’m leaving Washington with so many beautiful memories, and Hotel Hive is definitely one of the things that made this trip so special for me.
I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Washington, D.C. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Hotel Hive team for your kindness, your smiles, and for making me feel so comfortable and welcome while I was so far away from home. ❤️
