Location, location, location!!
Pros:

The location was beautiful . Right on the water.

Cons:

The staff was a little disorganized, but it was a big weekend with multiple weddings.

A hotel for sleep

Certainly it is a good location although directly on 101. Nice breakfast and very good latte!

Cons:

It is not a $400 hotel! Sorry! The walkways to room are full and borderline cheap and tacky and our room which was all that was available was a misnamed suite only because it was a corner room which had a partial view of the water and the other of a rooftop. The bathroom was uselessly massive because of the corner room configuration and included nothing but what all the other rooms had- a little weird so do not get a corner suite room!
Nice hotel but some misses for sure- I was wishing we had stayed at the Holiday
Inn across from the Buckeye at a fraction of the cost and as nice.

Great place to stay just a few minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Pros:

There were a couple of included extras that made the stay better: evening wine and nibbles, cookies in the afternoon. We appreciated the included breakfast.

Cons:

A bit more variety in the breakfast offerings would be good

Excellent breakfast with made to order coffee drinks. Wine & cheese in the early evening, cookies at night. Comfortable beds. Was very quiet at night.

Cons:

Outside stairs to breakfast area were not the best, altho there were handrails on both sides. Towels were a little thin.

The location was perfect for my needs! I loved the location and walkways nearby along the lagoon.
