The staff was extremely friendly and engaging. The restaurant and food was good, and they have good coffee in the rooms!
It was extremely noisy. Guests were talking loudly in the corridors and slamming the doors well in to the night. At 23:00 I finally had to put white noise on.
The bedding is not particularly cozy - it is quite a thin duvet, with no blanket. Personally, I prefer a cold room with comfy bedding.

This is an excellent 4 star hotel, located in Claremont - which is about a 15 minute drive from the Cape Town CBD. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and recently refurbished. The breakfast section is excellent and there is also a very good Indian restaurant adjacent to the hotel. But what really made the stay special for me were the staff. Hazel on the front desk in particular was the epitome of friendly, knowledgeable assistance. It helped to make for a memorable stay.

This is a lovely hotel, located in Claremont, which is approximately a 15 minute drive to the Cape Town CBD. It seems primarily used by locals and business travellers, but it suited my needs perfectly as I wanted to stay near friends who lived nearby. The rooms are very comfortable and have been recently refurbished. And the hotel itself is a 5 minute walk away from the main Claremont shopping area. The Kirstenbosch gardens are nearby and it’s a mere 20 minute drive to Kalk Bay and the start of the Cape Peninsula. The staff at reception could not have been more helpful. Recommend.
