Sheraton Zibo Hotel

This was a beautiful hotel with lots of dining options and a very lively outdoor shopping district within a few minutes walk. I walked to a Zibo BBQ place with live entertainment and was able to experience the local culture and cuisine within a short amount of time. Hotel room was quiet and comfortable. Everything was perfect witj my stay. I highly recommend.

Na ja, die Erwartung an ein Sheraton-Hotel wurden klar nicht erfüllt:
Unser erstes Zimmer lag im 36. Stock, der Wind war dermaßen laut, dass an erholsamen Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Nach der zweiten Nacht protestiert und ein Zimmer auf der windabgewandten Seite erhalten, dann war der Wind nicht mehr so penetrant zu hören.
Sehr großes Zimmer mit ca. 60-70 qm insgesamt. Badezimmer verglast mit Rollo-Option, trotzdem ist eine völlig transparente Toilette nicht gerade mein Favorit. Am Boden lag bei der Ankunft gut sichtbar noch eine Zigarettenschachtel des Vorbewohners oder des Putzgeschwaders. Das Bett zwar riesig aber trotzdem nicht bequem, wir haben alle drei Nächte nicht gut geschlafen.
Frühstück:
Ein Elend, da wäre so vieles so einfach zu verbessern:
4 Kaffeemaschinen, die praktisch alle aus unterschiedlichen Gründen nicht funktionierten (bei 3 x frühstücken): Milch leer, Satzbehälter voll, Bohnen leer, wasauchimmer. Völlig verspritzt, die Milchkühlschränke stehen permanent offen und jeder Gast fummelt an den Milch-Saugschläuchen rum, bääh.
Im Salzstreuer war Zucker drin (kein Scherz), die Warmhaltebehälter standen permanent offen, daher waren die Speisen drinnen meist alles andere als warm.

Schade, dabei soll das Sheraton noch das beste Hotel in Zibo sein...

We stayed here for business and were very pleased overall. The rooms were super nice and very clean. The breakfast was also very good, especially considering it only cost us $4 per day. There aren’t many options in the area, so that was the right spot.

The staff in general provided great service, with one exception. When we needed a taxi to the airport, the man at the front desk who was supposed to help us wasn’t very helpful. According to our local translator, he was pushing a $100 USD ride while ignoring more affordable options or even two cars instead of one. He basically told us that if we wanted something else and, we’d have to figure it out on our own.

Other than that, the rest of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d still recommend the hotel.

Amazing Hotel with excellent staff and awesome food

Highly recommend this hotel in Zibo. Location is very close to everything. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also delicious. The hotel room is very clean and new.

Only good thing: the hotel is very centrally located and not far from the railway station
But:
- the air conditioning doesn't work properly and it's horribly hot in the rooms
- and you can't open the windows to get cooler air at night as the environment is very noisy
- noise that you can hear even with windows shut as they are not soundproof
- the carpets and furniture are old and worn out

Very clean and convenient location! The staff are very polite and helpful.

Located in the city center, the good thing that you have many shops around but the traffic is high in this area. The hotel is old , you feel the luxury of Sheraton. The breakfast buffet is amazing.

The Sheraton was recommended as the best hotel in Zibo and I can see why. A very friendly, welcoming hotel. Great buffet priced very well and clean and comfortable rooms. The bar prices are on the high side, but with an excellent live musical accompaniment makes a nightly visit a must. Definitely recommend this hotel

Only stayed one night, was given a corner room at the end of corridor, room felt like it was stuffed at the corner like a corridor. Worst is that upon opening door, it was fully dark (check in at night) and with cupboard and luggage rack at the door. Tried multiple ways to find switch and gave up, had to use my phone torchlight to find stuff in my luggage. found out next morning it can be turned on using bedside panel which was located far far away from door.

Amenities - standard big bottles, did not look for kettle or tea/coffee due to short stay.

Feel - scary due to the darkness at entrance. Otherwise room was okay.

Location - lots of small open air local vendors selling food outside hotel

Work table had no electrical plug, had to disconnect other stuff at bank of table to get electricity

Breakfast - very very inexperienced staff. Egg station no cook, server ask me take bulls eye and put own ingredients to make omelette. No concept of English breakfast tea.

Smokers were opening smoking in convention area and polluting the car inside

Best hotel in town. No changes after 3 years. Still high value for the price. Good food and good location.

Sheraton is well known brand , it should be a 5 star hotel , Zibo is different,
Check inn looks good until i have seen my room, super small and hot like sauna, after complaining get other room but not in club floor, which is ok because club lounge not open , difficult to communicate because few people speak english now , i guess they kicked out the more expensive workers ( who can speak english) , now only 3 rd level worker in
can see especially in the restaurant , can see how they are doing , food is cold there, 1 week no change the menus, even there english is an adventure!
worst sheraton ever i had been

Many times I don't get the previous review after I visit the hotel. This hotel is one of them.
I'll start with what the doesn't have.
Executive lounge.
Bell service
Concierge
Enough staff
Enough English-speaking staff
Comfortable bed.
What they do have.
Nice Hotel. In the center of the city not far from the train station.
The shower was good.
The selection of fresh fruit and vegetables at breakfast was just ok.

Maybe they can consider themselves the only five-star hotel in the city. Well maybe they should get first their stars. For now the only stars you get is when you look at the sky on a clear night.

My Wife and I, celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary on the 16th of August 2022. The date has great significance to us, as it's also on the same date, that we first arrived in China during 2019.

Thus we are married 14 years on the day, and in beautiful China, for 3 years on the 16th of August.

I booked an Premier Delux Executive Room on Trip.com to celebrate the occasion.

As we enjoy dining at the Sheraton's "Feast Signature Restaurant" every week, I had the manager Ben's contact information on my phone.

I requested Ben's assistance, and asked if he could be so kind as to speak to the Hotel's front desk and assist with my booking.

Basically, I wanted something special, for our special night.

Ben was most kind and assisted us, by selecting a beautifully decorated corner suite, on the 37th Floor "Club Level".

The room's decoration was extremly romantic, and was even better than we hoped for.

The service received was world class, from check in to check out. They assisted us to order room service as well.

The Sheraton Hotel in Zibo, is a true landmark, and most definitely the most impressive and modern of all the Hotels in Zibo.

I can make this statement, as I support various Hotels in Zibo, and whilst they all have diffrent attributes, there is only one truly worthy of a 5 Star rating, and that's the Sheraton ofcourse.

The Feast Signature Restaurant, is one of the best restaurants in the world, and most definitely the best in Zibo.

They have a superb selection of world class dishes to satisfy all tastes.

Once again, thank you to the Sheraton Zibo for your spectacular service, and once again special thanks to the Manager "Ben", for his professional assistance always.
