Very Disappointing Experience – Confirmed Booking but No Stay
Cons:

I booked this hotel through Booking.com and received a confirmed reservation. However, the hotel later sent messages saying it was cancelled while the Booking.com status still showed confirmed.

When I arrived at the hotel directly from the airport (my first time visiting India), the staff told me the booking was cancelled and I could not stay. I was left without accommodation after a long journey.

This was extremely disappointing and stressful. I do not recommend this place due to unreliable booking management and poor communication.

Cons:

Reception needs to be groomed well about the requirements, despite of mentioning certain conditions and booking an extra room I had to pay 2.5k extra just to change.

Cons:

We were initially shown a cramped room which v didnt like. Since i had booked through booking.com i went for cancellation online. This prompted the hotel to give a good room having good light.

Clean rooms, very airy.
Pros:

they serve hot breakfast. But sadly they dont have a restaurant for basics like Tea and Biscuits

Stay at Treebo Papillon Palace
Pros:

The room was great and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The best part is the location right next to Navbharat Circle. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent - with a variety of items served each day!

Cons:

The wi-fi was poor as was mobile reception (for use as a hotspot). This could be due to the location of the building but if they fix this one issue this is a truly great place to stay at in Mangalore!
