The attention from the staff is impeccable. Outstanding experience the best hotel in all of Barahona and its vicinity. I will certainly come back and relive a truly natural oasis.
This place is beautiful the only thing is that when u do check in they tell u the name of the room name to go to. No direction no one to tell y where to go how far we had to walk all around to finally realize where it was. Other then that amazing place.

Eco lodge platon is a short 20 minute drive from Paraiso beach. the lodge sits on the side of the river surrounded by lush forest and cacao farms. perfect place to escape from the heat of the beach and discover the mountains.
The place is beautiful and the staff friendly and happy to help with all issues. The cabins were ample, well maintained, and very clean. The food was excellent and offered a very good choice of family friendly menu items.
Access requires a 4x4 vehicle, although the hotel offers a place to park a car at the foot of the hill and can send its own transport to pick you up. The ride will be very bumpy, but I think that the destination is worth it. While this didn't affect me, the place is not wheelchair accessible.

The hotel was very beautiful and clean, the staff was really friendly and nice. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing time
Wonderful place! Thoughtfully laid out in an area of natural beauty, including waterfalls and rivers. Very comfy rooms. The bed was excellent. Food was great and worth eating on site at their restaurant. The road up to the lodge is best in a 4x4 but not terrible (they can collect you). Staff were very helpful. The toboggan run is fast and thrilling.
I have travelled and stayed in many places in the DR. This rates in my top 3.
Beautiful area, quiet and staff is friendly. The cabins need a little more maintenance for the price they are charging (the ac kept turning off every 60 minutes all evening long and they decided to hammer in a broken balcony beam in the first floor while we weee on the room, without asking first).
Pretty place but super dirty and dusty. Very expensive for the quality given.
The location was beautiful and the individual units very comfortable. The many lagoons and waterfalls on the property were spectacular. Going tubing on the river was lots of fun. The food was good. The wait staff was outstanding.
The amenities we were interested in, such as the spa and horseback riding weren't available. We also were greeted by a very unfriendly receptionist. As a first impression of your hotel she was awful.
I was sent the wrong direction link and got lost. never found the place and non one would answer the phone. Please check this vendor as it is a scam. My credit card has been notified.
The waiters and the drivers of the hotel were great in a way
The manager is awful, horrible customer service I don't know if it's something related to Barahona or what but manager just as Stefany are just horrible, nasty attitude
Even the owner of the place was there, I understand he doesn't have to be nice to visitors but oh my god horrible attitude with the people is paying them they supposed to be there to serve us in a way and if you are the owner of a business you better act like one friendly toward his customers but obviously this was not the case, they ruin the whole business experience
The location
What a gorgeous property! We slept in a super comfortable tree house that was so peaceful. It was the best night's sleep we have had in years. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The restaurant was delicious. We cannot wait to go back!
