I would not recommend this location.
Pros:

The rooms were clean and the rate was good.

Cons:

The hotel closed all of the amenities (restaurant, bar, pool, etc.) phones did not work in 2 rooms, TV did not work, valet services were hottible.

Cons:

The lady at the front desk was very rude and sarcastic. I had a King room with a city view. I was given a room with an obstructed view of 2 large buildings blocking the “City View”. I went down to get my room changed and let the young lady at the front desk know the room was a view of 2 buildings. I asked for an odd number room or a corner room to accommodate. The young lady then replied “ You asked for this, you better like your room when I change it.” I did not like her tone and rudeness, very unpleasant as a front desk attendant.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The parking very expensive the valet and the parking across the street very expensive. They take advantage of the customers.

No pool and the valet parking to expensive and the parking across the street very expensive. They take advantage of the customers. Never again staying downtown. The carpets in the hallways are so dirty and the rooms could be cleaner and the plugs for cell phone don’t work.

Over all a pleasant experience.
Pros:

The property was nice. It was within walking distance of the streetcars and downtown. It was a unique hotel. The staff was nice and professional. They did let us leave our bags until the room was ready to check in.

Cons:

The rooms did not look like what was pictured on the site. The bar and food areas were all closed. I got an email about it after I booked. I feel like this should have been posted on the site upfront. The cleanliness of the room was ok but not great. The shower was greasy feeling.
